The Royal Forester
Green TBF we pass the baton on at that point, albeit we're still invested supporters from the sidelines.

Which group(s) will the baton be passed onto?

Take your pick (of one of many in financial strife)

SBWD statement following today's news is kneejerk and not for the first time. They are complaining the club hasn't announced who the proposed buyer is, really think they need to get individuals who understand this stuff to check their statements through. Can you put their statement up on here pleas...

Agree with all that but I'll cut them quite a bit of slack for getting organised and getting some decent media coverage for various stunts.

Compare that to STAR, who as recently as a few months ago were asking fans not to protest.

WestYorksRoyal Imagine how shit it will feel if it doesn't happen now. The day I thought we were selling Bearwood is the low point to date, but this would top it.

I'd be amazed if this saga didn't have a couple more massive disappointments in store TBF.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I'm also bemused as to how Wycombe could make it work financially, it's worth 3 times as much as the club. Given the limitations on use. I wonder if they planned to rent it out as event space in the summer. Certainly under UEFA FFP rules money spent on infrastructure, youth development or training ...

Jagermesiter1871 Brentford managed to build their new stadium, in central London, for £70 mil

You have a strange definition of "central" London - it doesn't even have a London postcode.

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

That's the chappie It's quite unusual in that the outside and concourse are above the pitch, so disabled fans can get in and be at a level to get a decent view. It sort of makes sense. if you dig down to put the pitch in, you dont need to build such tall stands to get people in. Drainage must be a ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I suspect (and it's only supposition) the planning permission was made personal to Reading so that the council can keep a tight control of how the facilities are used. I'd be surprised if they objected to transferring it to Wycombe - or even to allowing both clubs to share (although there may still...

Yes you're right - not on sale yet, and the fixture may yet be postponed due to international commitments. Are you asking others to purchase tickets on your behalf, or is this just a first in the queue placeholder for any spares? A little from column A, a little from Column B.. Just getting my prov...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

If new ownership does occur, can we please not only remove Dai Yongge but also discard the notion that new developments don't warrant new threads? Currently, discussions on the potential ownership change are scattered across three threads, perhaps even more, because people are hesitant to create a ...

He also went to see Beijing Renhe play on numerous ocassions. I heard he used to have a soft spot for KSV Roeselare Read it again... the club's when I lived there over performed. To be honest I've seen Reading win most of the times I've been able to get up but that was ruined by W*nkcombe W*nkerers...
