Re: Women Pundits/Commentators

Meh, I'm happy with my views on this, and the best argument that can be mustered so far is because more women watch football now that means women need to be pundits. Strange concept. Next, you'll be telling me the only reason homes under the hammer has Dion Dublin as a presenter is because more bla...

Re: Women Pundits/Commentators

After Leon Knights outburst, I have to agree to an extent, admittedly he didn't approach it in quite the right way but I do agree with the sentiment. For those who hadn't seen this, he was referring to Alex Scott's appearance as a pundit for the England Switzerland game, discuss. "Might be a u...

Re: 3rd UEFA Cup Competition

nah I want the best teams in Europe playing each other.

I'd expect our 5/6th placed teams to beat off Young Boys

*snigger

They'd expect to go through against Young Boys, Plzen, Club Brugge, Red Star

They'd likely go through against Ajax, AEK, PSV, Shaktar, Porto, Benfica

Re: Reading FC Womens World

they seem to have a really solid set up. Whoever has been running that side of the club has done a fantastic job. Should be top 4 again, and when that is up against 4 of the 'big 6' from the men's world, its a cracking achievement And yeah the contrast the men's first team is very stark unfortunate...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

You're only as good as your last five games I guess. if this was just a bit of data, I'd think nothing of it and just assume it's mean reversion. Adding up all the performances prolly gives a better idea of how good a team is. I don't know if anything else has changed btw (lost key players etc) che...

I don't see how offering a free pint with every pie and £5 off your ticket price is going to entice anyone to come and watch shit boring losing football. id defo consider going more often if they did that Never understood people who can't go 90 minutes without shoveling pie and chips down their gul...
