Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Getafe let in an 87th minute equaliser which allowed Valencia to leapfrog them and take the final Champions League spot.

Would have been fairytale stuff had they got into the CL. So close!

Genuinely never known a hype train like the one around Phil Foden for the last 2 years or so.

Re: New Kits 2019/20

I find it odd as it is a competition they are generally in most years and often get to the latter stages (recent times aside) If Leicester did it for winning the PL in 20 years time I would get it, if Forest have references to their European Cup wins on their shirts then yeah, I absolutely get it, b...

Re: The generic transfer thread

One of my favourite transfer stories: https://punditarena.com/uncategorized/cheffernan/summertime-madness-dodgy-dealing-robert-jarni-coventry-city/ never heard that before I have always liked the story of Figo joining Real Madrid, and how he never actually wanted to join them at all but his agent s...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Was listening to a podcast earlier and they talked about Luka Jovic of Frankfurt. He is on loan there from Benfica with an option to buy for just €6M. He is 21 years old and currently the top scorer in the Bundesliga. Benfica have been seeking legal action trying to get that purchase figure removed...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Lingard and Redmond in there ahead of Madison seems f*cking nuts.

I saw the squad list and genuinely wondered if they had made some typo or accidental omission

Palermo in Serie B purchased by a company in London for €10 with a further branding purchase agreement which guarantees the new owners have to put another €22.8M into the club to get them to a healthy financial position. Re: The Playoffs 2018/19 edition

Yet another Bielsa team runs out of steam. Quelle surprise . Has there ever been a 5th vs 6th PO final before at this level? Don't know but it doesn't feel right. I really like the non league play off system where one goes up automtaically and finishing 2nd and 3rd is a real advantage. One game les...
