The timing was terrible but what he can he really do in his situation now? He’s apologised and now let’s move on, give him the benefit of a doubt. Don’t have to forgive him but I think it’s unfair not give him a chance to make amends
Relegated in 16/17. We would be in serious financial problems. We wouldn’t have wealthy owners, attendances would have declined even more sharply. Relegation would be a disaster now but it would’ve been 100 times worse back then.
Was the first time I was actually impressed by him, even if he did seem to burn as many bridges as possible. People did go a bit too far by directly messaging him abuse I guess, slag him off all you want as they’d have to google their names to actually see it, bit different to seeing that pop up on ...
Tbh I can understand to an extent taking offence to what people on the internet say about you, but manipulating people into sticking up for you as you can’t do it yourself is just pathetic and frankly hilarious.
Had missed his guesswork tbf https://twitter.com/jonathanl50/status/1021682481085521921?s=21 To be fair at least he only reports things that have actually happened most of the time. He's largely unoffensive. Well he’s nowhere near as insufferable as any of the chronicle “journalists” put it that way
