Re: Gourlay

Just on the subject of the owners i personally prefer to see what they do as opposed to hearing it and i liked the fact they backed the manager with considerable funds without any fuss it was Trevreden and Stam who cocked up.

Re: Building for next season

In order to make the finals of the Championship PO's We will need a striker who can get 25 goals or two 15-20 goal strikers. We need, power, strength, aggression, speed, hardness, the sort you get from a non-stop, take the knocks forward line, my personal favourite(s) being the Long-Hunt partnershi...

Re: Building for next season

some interesting comments from Ilori in the press conference: 'It's not just about the quality you have. The work rate has to be there as well. Football is a complete sport, it's not just talent and skill.' 'There wasn't a particular game when things went wrong. Sometimes I felt we didn't work as h...

Re: Back from the ****

Keep Obita Moore Barrow Bodvarrson get rid of the rest . That would most certainly result in relegation next season. While change is required it has to be gradual. Yeah, I'd be interested to know who is going to offer contracts they'll accept to all the other players even if we make them available ...

Re: Back from the ****

We are rudderless both on and off the pitch. Our decline has coincided with change of ownership. We have had owners for the past seven or eight years that don’t have any interest in the club. Our current owners are nowhere to be seen. Our Chief Exec is nowhere to be seen. On the pitch leadership is...

Re: Back from the ****

One that's seen us get relegated before, play much worse than that before, play at lower levels before, and go entire matches without threatening against equally-mediocre opposition. Shit happens. Yeah, because you are clearly the only fan that's seen us relegated or play at a lower level. I've see...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by c'mon URZ

Performance-wise, we really haven't had that much of a 'managerial bounce' under Clement, which worries me... 100% agree. Very little has changed. The only major thing being we don't know what the tactics will be when we inevitably lose. 3-0  It's the group. Does he drop our only 2 available ...
