Re: Out of Contract 2022

The next set of accounts are going to make for grim reading again. There is bound to be another huge loss but that will be the same for all clubs. January is tricky. If we are mid table and looking relatively safe then we do need to consider offers for the likes of Swift, Laurent, Rino etc. Aren't ...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

It’s supposed to be an all professional league with ambitions to be the best women’s league in the world. Yet the standard of refereeing is terrible. The ball was well over the line and United had a player offside in the build up to the second goal. Agree - should have at least have goal line techn...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Just watching Man C, look different gravy and with half their team out and no pre season prep.

The top of the WSL is seriously good standard now.

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Looking forward to the game tonight, lets hope the girls do themselves justice.

It's good Kelly recognised in the interview earlier that last season wasn't good enough, we'll never challenge the top 4 now but still think we can be best of the rest

Re: Transfer deadline day rumours in's and out's

Indeed. There isn’t much to report. The journos are not trying to make things up for click bait. If there is something they will report it. There’s no coverage though, that’s my issue. Jlo reposted the rumour about Carroll at 9am this morning. Then nothing till one tweet at 7:30 this evening. He ge...

Re: Relegation

I keep coming back to the fact, assuming we sign 2 more on loan this week, we will have what 14 players who are unlikely to be at the club next season as things stand. ... ? Do they care if we are in L1 next year? In fact I honestly can't think of a loanee who has looked like they don't want to be ...

Need to cut Pauno some slack for a month...apparently he's been conducting a large part of the transfer negotiations over the last couple of weeks because that Pang guy we bought in doesn't speak much English :D

Re: Pauno out

Whilst Pauno has had his hands tied Adkins had to rely on Jake Taylor who's now at Stevenage and Aaron Kuhl who doesn't play professionally anymore. I think even though we were poor he wasn't that bad vs who has managed us since. Pauno has 2 capable midfielders in Laurent and Rinomhota, an unbalanc...

Re: Pauno in or out - poll

Parky has just joined Wrexham having bought into the Hollywood project. Wrexham had over 700 fans following them at Eastleigh today. A club on the way back, Good - thank god for that. Did you watch his Bradford and Bolton sides? Quite honestly he's at his level There's some strange love in about Pa...

Re: Pauno in or out - poll

When we were going well last season Blackburn away we had Joao, Meite, Olise, Ejaria and Richards and 2 decent defensive coaches who as far as I am aware have not been replaced

Any surprise results like today then?

Lets sack the manager then but I guarantee no one else will do any better atm

Re: Relegation

1 win out of 5 in a reasonably decent start opposition-wise. Pauno has to be under pressure now. He’s far from convincing Of the teams we have played 2 have 10 points from 5 and sit in the top 6. Coventry have won 3 and sit 7th. So whilst on paper an easy start 3 of our opponents are early pace set...

Snowflake Royal Anyone considered that Ejaria isn't just isolating, but is actually ill with Covid?

Azeez missing... Liverpool bound?

Azeez injured - 3 months

Ejaria - who knows? Had been self-isolating before the Preston game according to Pauno

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

I presume this is an injury that you can “play” with and that will be more fully assessed while everyone takes a break for more tedious internationals? Getting quite unbelievable this though, Reading seem to be losing a player to longish term injury every game. This will be the fifth after Joao, Me...
