Re: BFTG - Bolton

Not sure about you but I got the feeling his anger on BBC Berks was directed fully at McShane. Think the selection error Clement admitted to making relates to the picking of McShane. Can see him being dropped indefinity and possible removal of captaincy. Quietest I have heard McShane today. LLori h...

Re: BFTG - Bolton

there is an argument that says it’s not Kelly’s fault there are no options it’s the rest of the team. The movement first half was OK. Second half Kelly included it was dreadful. You'd expect Meyler to sit deep and act as an achor. While Kelly drives forward and takes people onin order to create spa...

Re: BFTG - Bolton

Kelly Passes 110 I was at the point of counting the number of sideway passes Kelly was making in the second half. Baldock was running the line but there was no attempt to play a ball into space to run onto. Any stats on McShane. How many times did he push forward, only to go nowhere and pass the ba...

Re: Clement OUT!!!!

Hound Evans was poor here and would have fitted in very well with that performance today

Let’s not pretend otherwise

Yep. History being rewritten here. Evans was very poor last season.

Likewise JVB, Kelly, Edwards. They made more appearances too.

Re: Clement OUT!!!!

Hound
We don’t play like we did under Stam. Confuses me when people say that.

Second half passing it around the back looked very similar. Where was the midfield? Went missing.

Re: BFTG - Bolton

Playing Swift on the left wing totally unbalanced the team.

Kelly has no tempo. When in possession simply slows the game down.

Too easy to play against at the moment.

Re: Team for Bolton (h)

Nameless Why not three at the back with Yiadom and Richards as wingbacks ?

My thoughts too. Though O'Shea ahead of McShane. Going to a be physical battle from set pieces.

Re: BFTG Birmingham

https://youtu.be/NgZC8KtYUv0 Highlights for anyone interested. Swift should probably be on free kick duty for the rest of the season.. Was practising in the warm up. Besides scoring, he hit the post twice and the bar. Being putting neccessary hours in to achieve consistency. Which was the only secr...

BFTG Birmingham

Enjoyed the game with lots of positives to take from the performance. Seems to be a unity in the squad coupled with leadership. Opposition very poor. Job done, a major confidence boost.

Roll on round 2.

Re: Summer Transfers

To an extent this whole transfer window seems a little pointless when you can still do loans. Anyone, such as what seems likely with MM, can just go on loan with a clause to sign permanently in January Might well happen. Once premiership clubs lighten their squads. Causing a ripple effect. For an a...

Re: Forest (A) match thread

bobby1413 Mind you I've said that over multiple seasons now and we just change managers and the whole process seems to repeat

£7m wasted on Aluko. Better to have a long term plan. Than think that money is automatically going to buy success. Changing managers frequently isn't the solution either.

Re: Forest (A) match thread

bobby1413 I just can't imagine him taking this team anywhere - especially not promotion or play offs

This squad isn't good enough. Going to take time to improve it. Safely in mid table would an improvement.

Re: Forest (A) match thread

One shot on target equals the total achieved in the last 4 away games of last season. Might set a new record today.
