Re: Back from the game - Norwich

Agree with most of points raised apart from I thought Gunter got absolutely roasted time and time again. Illoris lack of even getting off the ground for their second goal was horrendous and summed up his whole attitude to this relegation fight. Regarding the penalty, if I was Stam I'd be more concer...

Re: BFTG - Bolton

Thought it was a tough game to hand a 17 year old is debut when we had two players on the bench that Stam brought to the club for several million. Reminded me of Jake Cooper in playing style and build. Understandably looked very nervous and given a run around for most of the game. We probably won't ...

Re: BFTG Brentford

Apologies if this has already been mention but relegation doesn't neccasarily mean players on big contracts leaving to allow young lads the chance.
Players with a couple of years to go can easily stay, pick up their championship wages

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

Have to agree with previous comments regarding how poor this was. Yeah the fans did give some stick but why should players have to be treated with kid gloves to spare their wafer thin feelings. They are happy to take the plaudits with 30k+ supporting them at Wembley so when they can't be arsed to tu...

Top player for us and probably one of the best value. As with previous post, what would we give for just one of that squad. Doyle,Lita,Kitson or Long

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

Last season we won many games especially at home where we didn't play well but scraped 3 points. Which propelled us to an unlikely third place finishThis season we are not getting the lucky breaks and coming unstuck. We are not a good team despite having a strong squad full of half decent players. S...

Re: Matchwatch: Fulham (H)

As the sending off was practically at the start of the game there should have been plenty of time to change to a plan B . Oh no, sorry I forgot, we don't have one. As for Stams dealing in the transfer market? Over a dozen players brought in and with the exception of Moore who probably won't be aroun...

Re: Matchwatch: Fulham (H)

We're so 1 paced it embarrassing. Over achievement last season. We will be found out this one. When are we going to get the attacking football Stam promised when he got the job? I'll give him 2 months to sort it out before he's shown the door. Hopefully we will sign a couple of strikers by then.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Aston Villa (h) sponsored by a Terry Bell own goal

A case of 2 managers. 1 makes 3 positive substitutions to try and win the game the other makes none till it's too late trying to hang on to what we had. Why did the ineffective Beerens stay on for the whole game with Harriott on the bench and no sign of Samuels even at the end to try and snatch some...

Re: BFTG - QPR

They say a good player doesn't become a bad player overnight so Vydras form must be down to the system that our manager is playing. Surely it's obvious?
Also, I can't be surprised if the players hearts don't appear to be in the club, the manager has made it clear that his isn't

Re: PA announcer

I emailed the club after the Leeds game with my personal thoughts ( for what they are worth) regarding the attempts to force an atmosphere in particular the knob of an announcer. No reply, but at least the guy yesterday was an improvement

How long?

Towards the end of last season there were already rumblings of discontent regarding the managers position. The cup run obviously deflected some of the flak but with that now a distant and painful memory, how long before the current dissatisfaction grows into a manic call for his head? Personally, I'...

Re: BFTG Forrst (H)

Always wanted to know why we're the only club to kill any remote sign of atmosphere by threatening to evict or even ban home fans for standing yet do nothing about away fans doing the same. Go away and it's the complete opposite.
