Re: Ex Players

Why are you against players making a gesture in favour of racial equality, and why do you think you get a say in what they should do? You just can’t help yourself can you? Where does it say that I think that I should get a say in what they should do? And, in my opinion (that I am totally entitled t...

Re: Ex Players

The ironic thing is that it's only the gimps calling for the players to stop taking the knee that's keeping the fact that some players are still taking the knee in the news. Totally disagree. Just because their opinion may vary from yours, it doesn’t qualify them for abuse. I don’t have any race is...

Loafer
Orion1871 I forgot Birmingham was the club with the idiot fans that shout "who" whenever the opposition make a sub. More embarrassing than our defending.

Not as embarrassing as club1871

Re: BFTG Inspired - Rotherham (A) Match Review

Your feedback has been received, thank you. However, other people asked, so I have delivered. Because I don't care that you want to get your knickers in a twist about it. :| they didn’t ask you to do it, Christ. They asked why we don’t have one anymore. And you’ve taken upon yourself to post one up...

Re: Magnificent 7 v2 ?

Keith Scott is my all time biggest WTF signing. IIRC he played at the Madejski for Wycombe not long before signing for Reading, and looked completely useless. I thought it was a joke when then suddenly popped up as having joined Reading. You obviously started watching after Ian Branfoot. What about...

Re: Reasons to be hopeful?

I would imagine that this coming season, we will be playing with players from the academy mixed with the players that no other Club wanted to take off our hands, and maybe a few loan players. We must be relegation favourites at the Bookies, surely, but then so be it. Drop down a league and find our...

Re: Rival Watch

tidus_mi2 If Ainsworth takes Wycombe up via the play-offs I'd take him here when he's available simply because he'd maintain a 100% play-off record in 3 attempts.

Maybe we'd actually win the oxf*rd play-offs for a change.

Well we nicked their ‘Since I Was Young’ song, why not half inch their manager too!

Re: Your worst 11 since supporting RFC?

Any team for worst players should always start with Colin Gordon, Nigel Vaughan, Mike Conroy and Keith Scott.
To make up the rest, just pick up a Ian Branfoot team sheet.

Re: Magic Number

What a load of bollocks this is, magic number criteria? oxf*rd off! Just get 40 points and a team is generally safe. That’s the way it is and the way it’s always been. It’s not foolproof, and in exceptional seasons it’s not enough, but this is not an exceptional season so just get the 40 and that wi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

^^^ He earns £100k a week and spent numerous months looking extremely poor. We're just expressing a bit of frustration, pretty much par for the course for football fans to boo one minute then cheer the next. Back to today, we were a bit lucky that Barnsley bottled it in the second half. We were abs...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Tails Drinkwater was clearly one of the better players today.

Like with Maguire, I find it utterly bizarre people booing.

AthleticoSpizz Nothing “dreary” about the Simod ‘88 kit that it replicates.

No, I disagree. The trophy looked nice, but the kit was dreary. Probably the best away kit was the blue and yellow hoops and the red and yellow hoops (depending on home colours) from the 93/94 season.

Re: Ex Players

Went to watch Hungerford vs Billericay on Saturday. Two ex-Royals in the Billericay line-up - Simon Cox was coach and an unused sub and Greg Halford was at centre back (and scored a penalty). I was never quite sure why Halford's stay at Reading was so brief, although have heard lots of rumours! He ...

Re: Ex Players

How many more times will this happen. An ex player that doesn’t make the grade at Reading comes back to score against us. Greg Halford, Darius Henderson, now Jake Cooper. How many more? Ex-players score against the former clubs all the time - this is not exclusively a Reading FC issue. Although it ...
