Re: What day will the news break?

Why this week? Legal matters take time to resolve. All parts of the deal need to come together at the same time. Far more complex than Dai just signing on the dotted line. This week because "ITK" accounts are spreading its done and even James Earnshaw has tweeted that something is close. ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

It was reported that Dai had received an offer from a mate which Howe apparently dismissed. Possibly, Howe knew that Dai’s mate wouldn’t pass the EFL checks very quickly. Everything Dai does never makes sense so this could be an underhanded way of selling the club to his buddy and resolving a short...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Apologies, if this has already been posted, but is there a chance that Lomtadze is Dai’s so called mate and his ultimate aim is to buy the club. Selling the training ground could be a quick way of funding this month’s £1m shortfall. I appreciate that in all probability this isn’t the case, but none...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Lewis Wing's other half now starting to speak out on Twitter. Nothing major yet but could well get interesting. Essentially, they moved to Reading as they were sold a shiny future where they could settle in the area and get their kids in to school - been lied to the whole time. Team and coaches are ...

Re: Wycombe will be culpable.

When Reading bought Kevin Doyle for £60k, and then bought out the remaining clauses in the contract from Cork for a pittance when they were about to go out of business, and it was obvious to everyone that he was worth multiple millions, were we culpable? Yes i suppose. But we still did it. Yes, thi...

Re: Wycombe will be culpable.

They’re a business. They’ll be getting an excellent training ground, I assume on the cheap because of our desperation. They owe us nothing. Our club has been absolutely shafted by a series of utter tossers, if Wycombe can take advantage of that to give themselves a competitive advantage, good luck ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Earnshaw reporting that Wycombe had a delegation at Bearwood back in November.

Probably around the time the supposed deal with Generva collapsed because Dai moved the goalposts. Now looks like he didn't move them but just planned to sell them to someone else.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

One thing that is puzzling me is, whoever it is that is fronting up the money for this training ground purchase, why don't they want to buy RFC plus training ground instead? Mention of some Georgian billionaire. Ok, if this person wants a training ground for £22m, why don't they want a training gro...

Re: Wycombe will be culpable.

Wycombe, or at least their owners will be culpable but naturally the villian remains Dai. As a business owner, you see a deal like this, you will look at taking it but the line about it helping us out - I mean, they must know how hollow that rings - if reports are to be believed the main interested ...

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

Brighton erected temporary stands around a local running track with the pitch in the middle. Don't think we have anything like that though. Palmer Park? It's council owned as well. It would be gutwrenching to go to Palmer Park to watch but if it has to happen, it has to happen. Dare I say this. If ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

For those saying protests don't work, I'm fairly certain if we got every game abandoned from now until the end of the season, bringing the entire competition into disrepute, things would start to move very quickly Yes, we would very quickly be ejected from the Football League. Sadly there are still...

People spotting on the Land Registry that the training ground has belonged to one of Dai's companies since 2019, not the club - so yeah, we aren't seeing any money from the sale.

Bucks Free Press seem to be all over this and pushed out a report that a Georgian Billionaire is putting most of the money up as has entered into partnership with the club. THe sale apparently will stop the club going pop.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

What I don't understand about this £1m shortfall is the following: Why does it magically stop becoming a problem next month? We knew Dai's commitment to the club at the start of the season, why didn't we budget better? How in the world can we be £1m short this month? I was under the impression we h...
