Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

600 already sold for Birmingham. C1871 usually have that many sold a day before the next game. It’s going to be a full South Stand so if you want a ticket or want to swap your existing season ticket for the South Stand for this game, please call the T/O as early as possible so as not to miss out.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

The Dolan Stand on Twitter has made a very good point to supporters wanting a season ticket in the South Stand next season. If you already have a season ticket elsewhere in the stadium, you can move it permanently for the Birmingham game, thus giving you first refusal on renewing it before season ti...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Holy shit, we're being commended on our atmosphere? No reference to tinpot? Never thought I'd see that. Brentford were also very complimentary. Perception is changing thanks to the South Stand initiative. If we could get a group of 20+ in Y25/26 now who keep the songs coming, others will jo...

Arsenal prepared to let Martinez leave this summer. I still think he’s too good for this level but you never know.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Oliveira has been immense for us. It was clear he hadn’t got over the hamstring injury and had only learnt how to manage it for the run in. Some plebs have been suggesting he’s injury prone and it’s ‘another’ injury but it’s clearly the same one. If we can bring him in for around £3m then that is a ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Baggies fans were very complimentary about C1871 and many said it was up there with the best home support they heard this season. Brilliant to hear! Also commented that the Dolan were loud at times with their clappers, which we don’t all like I appreciate but they work well in that stand! They did h...

Fantastic atmosphere again today, and it seemed to be non-stop throughout. We could even hear Y25/26 join in which was superb!

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Fee already agreed for Oliveira, and that must be a large chunk of our budget. Realistically Martinez is far too good for this level. We have zero chance of keeping him. Miazga I can see coming, and I reckon Baker. EJ also too good for us. Not Liverpool standard but a lower Prem team certainly, IMO.

Thoughts on the team kicking towards the South Stand second half? You can understand the advantage it offers the team playing in to the vocal support second half. I’m all for a change!

Over 800 sold so far for WBA. Ticket sales throughout the ground look very good too. A good crowd expected today.

On the day of the Brentford game we sold over 200 tickets, so today we are hopeful of hitting the 1000 mark.

Re: Partnership with Macron announced

Good call from Wazzock back in October. Thanks Pepe :D Not having that bellend One87One taking my glory. Crikey, that's somewhat harsh. I don't post frequently enough to have known you were on the ball sooner. Good work. We're still also open to stadium sponsorship. Gourlay was said to be close to ...

No problem at all with this if we get the reported £7m. If it means Baker and Oli stay then cheerio. Swift is great on his day but doesn't have enough consistency for me. £7m would be outstanding business.

Called it back in Nov. They have produced some decent kits for Sporting. I just hope we don’t go back to those plain back panels!

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Agree wholeheartedly that the only reason the atmosphere in the ground suffered in recent seasons was because of the crap football and the mismanagement of the football club. It left us feeling completely detached from the club and ultimately the team. Y25 and Y26 will recover. It just needs a group...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I think it's worse than ever. It's never going to work. Reading will always just have a shit atmosphere. Bunch of self important twats. Waste of seats when no ones even joining in. Think of the revenue we're wasting. The atmospheres still awful. Fold the club. /S You won’t catch many fish with a li...
