Great news signing a new contract today. Hopefully has a very high release clause too.

Hopefully Jordan Obita will be next

WAZZOCK It's just a shame we didn't have him for those first few matches, the FA need to think up a solution to the transfer window.

Have a feeling we will be saying a similar thing about someone else this season.

Agreed, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Comes across very well on his interview with the Elm Park Royals podcast.

Very interesting to hear how his transfer saga went down- Brighton were interested, he agreed with those 'above' him (presumably Gourlay/Nani) that he could leave if Brighton met a certain valuation.

The owners fly over and say they'll give him a new contract to get him to stay.

Then comes weeks of no movement from Gourlay on the transfer or contract front. So Moore hands in a transfer request to force the issue. The Dai Yonge siblings then flew over again at this stage and gave him the contract.

Paints a picture of Gourlay making a pig's ear of things behind the scenes while the Yonges weren't there to keep an eye on things.

Gourlay was a disaster for our club. He left us in a complete mess with a massively overbloated squad.
Thank God he’s gone.

Big +1 there

We could more or less have fielded three teams of first team players at the beginning of this season. We had about 300 midfielders. There was nothing from the top of the hierarchy right down to the bottom

Our win percentage we accumulated while he was here must have been embarrassingly low
