Obita has a thigh problem. Estimate 2 weeks out so maybe Fulham or Bristol City for a return.

Ansi Jaakkola back playing and will presumably return to the bench v Norwich following coming through the full 90 minutes plus penalties with the U21s at Southampton

Deniss Rakels has returned to training and could be available within a fortnight. Perhaps some involvement will be planned for the trip to Bristol City.

Jordan Obita is expected to be involved with the squad again at some point between Boxing Day and the visit to Bristol City

Therefore only Steven Quinn remains sidelined with no suggested return date.

McShane has a broken bone in his wrist and is due for an operation after the ManU game next weekend. It looks likely that Stam is not playing him unless he has to....

Harriott picked up an injury in the abandoned Fulham game. Looked like a hamstring but will likely have to wait a few days for assessment and confirmation from the club.

Callum out for 2 weeks (hamstring). Might be available for the trip to Derby.

Stephen "Murty" Quinn still out, no idea as to a return date.

Apparently Ansii Jaakkola still has a knee injury according to the EP. No idea how he managed to play the U21 game at Southampton. I can only presume therefore that he aggravated it during that game.

Everyone else available for training (including Paul McShane, although he has a wrist op. scheduled for between the ManU and QPR games).....

So the catalogue is growing again

Rakels still out, original prognosis was for February so he must have had a setback after apparently being well ahead of schedule

Quinn, well who knows. Perhaps next season?

Harriott, another 2/3 weeks

Berg picked up a hamstring problem today and is probably going to be out for a minimum of 2/3 weeks if not more pending full diagnosis

Blackett is carrying a calf injury but was able to play for an hour or so today so is hopefully able to continue on Tuesday

Obita had a shoulder knock but got 15 minutes today so is hopefully over it

Kermorgant had an ice pack on his leg after the game today and looked to be in a little difficulty towards then of the game so could be doubtful for the next match

Ilori currently going to be out for up to 6 weeks after an ankle injury in the Fulham game.

Of your little list, would be most upset to lose Kermie. He's in great form

How do you know Llori is injured already? So we get one game from our 'record' signing?

Ilori's injury was confirmed in the EP in their aftermatch with Jaap. Feel like we need to sign a new player now to make up for it.

He's played in 2 games already !

As we paid for him on credit presumably we're able to claim a refund ?

So that's Ilori & JVDB definitely out for a while.
McShane in boot cast & Blackett & Obita coming back from injury.
Gunter & Moore seem to be our only definitely fit first-choice defenders with games on Tuesday & Saturday to come.
No pressure then ....

Good thing we didnt loan out a relatively experienced CB (at this level) with a point to prove.

With our style of play, I'd rather see Liam Kelly at CB than Cooper.

To be serious though, Cooper will not develop with the odd handful of games here and there. Yes, it disadvantages us in the short term, but if he has any future with us, he has to get a decent run of games under his belt somewhere. He reminds me of Sean Morrison, a decent stopper who'll do a job but I'm not exactly gutted he's not in the team.
