Ah forgot about Northampton. That was pretty legendary. One side bordering the cricket pitch, rest of it a dilapidated mess. Yep and miles from the station.

For those who never went, it needs to be mentioned that the ground only had 2 and a half sides. One end (the rear half fenced off) only reached just past the goal.

The Main Stand was also partially condemned. The roof was removed and the seating covered over with corrugated iron sheeting. This meant the ground had no seats at all, so they built a terrible temporary small stand near the players' tunnel, in the middle of the paddock terracing. The Meccano Stand, as it became known, blocked the view of the people stuck in the main stand paddock.

I love this post. What an absolute dump it was. Think I visited it on an absolutely freezing night in about ‘93 at a guess

Rusty royal Sunderland doing us a favour at the moment

Sunderland actually looked good in the ten mins I watched. Ref did them out of a blatant pen and then Fulham went up the other end and equalised

Well that confirms we will get stuffed on live TV Sunday week. plus Fulham will have it all to play for at Birmingham.

Need to get the job done tomorrow. or it will be squeaky bum time.

Some excellent photos there. I went to Molineux back in November 71 for my first game. It snowed and Wolves beat Arsenal 5-1 having been a goal down at half time. Hard to believe I was in a stadium that looked like that photo.

My ideal set of results:

Reading beat Ipswich, draw with Cardiff (winning both seems unrealistic)
Burton win both
Bolton win their last
Brum lose both
Barnsley draw at least one.

Reading, Burton and Bolton survive, Brum, Barnsley and Sunderland go down.

G'arn Reading.

And we are still 40/1 to go down :D

I know....the other three have all got awful games as well, but 40/1 is worth a £10 punt

I think they’re a bit short if I’m honest. Think it’s much more unlikely for us to go down than the odds they’re offering.

You can get 40-1 on Birmingham going down. THAT is a good bet

That is 40-1 for Barnsley, Burton and Fulham to win

That probably WON't happen, but it's still decent odds

Where are you seeing that, snowy? Best I can see is 25/1.

SKY

People may be misreading as they were saying RDG were 40s when that is/was Brum and we are/were 66-1

What a stupid comment. If we go down, we also start on 0 points next season, as do they. As do Accrington fooking Stanley and AFC fooking Wimbledon

You're meant to put your sig at the bottom of a reply, not the start.

Shame, was hoping he’d try and sign Gunter for league one.
