He doesn't appear to have lost the dressing room and I don't think there is anything controversial behind the scenes. It just looks like the players are being asked to play a style they have neither the mentality or technical ability to execute. Sure we finished 3rd last season but we won games we had no right to win after being battered and somehow coming away with many undeserved 3 points. This season we aren't getting that luck and mostly we've got what we've deserved.

My interest for this game has spiked a bit considering the sudden sneaking threat of the relegation spots

Really can’t afford to mess this one up

Isn’t Tuesday night at home to a midlands based club our thing these days?

It’s been virtually the only high point of the season

Well that and Saturday away games to midlands based clubs

Have we got any more to play after tomorrow?

Oilroyal The boys will turn up to lose or draw. Play half decent of course, but not many now want to play for the Dutchman, they want rid of him, recent results say as much. It’s a mess.

Could you keepthe bizarre fantasy world where you think you can read the players' minds to your deluded self please.

Anything but a win and we could have a huge meltdown on here and social media this time tomorrow. I`ve already got my supply of chill pills.

I'm looking forward to another good midweek evening performance and win.

The incessant moaners who are constantly on the manager's and team's backs will have resumed their boycott after recent results and, surprise, surprise, free of the pressure of moans/abuse virtually every time they touch the ball, the players will perform far better. Those fans present will respond positively and away we go.

Yeah, I think that happened at the Forest home match, there was hardly any negative atmosphere because those fans stayed home, and I think it helped. I don't mind if some fans want Stam out - that's their opinion (and I might well join them tonight, if we lose).

It's the fans who actively want us to lose games to speed up his dismissal that are pathetic. There's not much of it on here, but plenty of it Twitter.

we need to start the game well. It struck me right from the first 5 mins of Burton how negative we were, and we never shook that off, and the crowd got bored/negative

Against Forest, we went for it from the start, got an early goal and the crowd got behind the team. The crowd will turn very quickly if we are not aggressive from the off

Coming down tonight for my first home game of the season, and first game at all since August, coincidentally the 2-0 win at Birmingham. I hope to see a performance replicating that one, a controlled passing game, but enough to keep a very poor Birmingham at bay and going through the gears as the game goes on to get the win. Hopefully a win tonight, coupled with a win at Stevenage on Saturday might kick start us for the second half of the season for a push into midtable obscurity and a dabble with the Cup.

Oh look, Oilroyal's spouting baseless nonsense again
Stolen your spot of nosencness! You are an online diva
I think Oilroyal has a point here, it may be a possibility and to be honest who knows what the players are thinking? Can anyone confirm nd other than assume that the players confidence is low etc.? Oilroyal's post made sense and his reply to genome was good. This is not ian royal or double d that we're dealing with here so i think the attempted belittling was out of order on this occasion.

To be honest, the team are playing so badly there are hundreds of things that the players may be thinking and feeling and i don't suppose a late play-off spot surge is one of them.

My ST seats are unfortunately next to some of the biggest whingers I’ve ever heard in a football stadium. Worst thing is they’re about 15. They really do my nut in
