Nameless You’d think the grammar police would take Sundays off....

I can never rest while there is still villainy in the world.

(Would this count as a matter of grammar, or merely spelling?)

If he's been carrying something it might explain his more recently lacklustre performances after having been great.

He has a back injury, not something to be taken lightly and is well within scope for 'worse than first thought'.

These things can't be rushed.

He is reported as saying about a month ago he should be fit again in about a month so hopefully he's starting to joining in some full training sessions. Presumably, because of playing Wednesday, there isn't a pre-match press conference for the Sheffield United game for the local media to be able to ask him about injuries.

Welcome to next week's crunch relegation six pointer, where Reading's midfield will be Swift, Baker and your guess is as good as anybodies'.

Oh dear, oh dear.

McIntyre is the bad head injury suffered at Rotherham surely ?

JLow says minor knee injury.

McIntyre's prognosis after the Rotherham away game was 6-8 weeks out with a fractured eye socket.

It is therefore feasible he's come back and picked up the issue in training but then this is the local media so you're probably right!

I am sure I remember seeing him play 45 minutes in an U23 game recently, in his first game back since the Rotherham injury.

Player said on 29th January that he was back training, but would only be allowed to head the ball at the end of that week. So that's three weeks ago, picking up another issue in that period in training is highly feasible.

JLow is right. McIntyre is over the head injury but picked up a knee injury in one of his first sessions back.

I think perhaps Hendo is thinking of Tom Holmes. Easy mistake to make. Are we 100% sure they're actually different people?
