Sutekh Current injured players are

Jordan Obita (got to be concerns for his entire career now as it will be over 2 years by the time he gets to play again)
John O'Shea (hamstring)
Sam Baldock (no idea what the injury is or how long out).
Paul McShane (knee)
Callum Harriott (no idea what the injury is or how long out).

Yakou Meite (ankle) and Saied Ezatolahi (quad muscle) are also thought to be injured but were not specifically referenced by Gomes when he was asked about injured players in today's press conference.

Harriott again???????

I guess with Harriott, he was out for so long, they are just being extra careful and managing his workload.

Old Man Andrews Jordan Obita won't be back this season. As I mentioned elsewhere I have heard a little bit about his recovery as he uses the chryo chamber at Bracknell Town and their pitch for 1 to 1 sessions. From what I was told a few months ago he'd struggle to come back at all and now that seems to be confirmed.

We won't see Obita on the pitch in a Reading shirt again. I just don't think he'll ever get fit enough to be 1st choice again.

he was injured for the forest game. Think it was a twinge in his calf or something like that

Hound More from Gomes:

We are not planning to bring back Novakovich.
Meyler, Mannone and McNulty are all fit but not in the squad.

OK, we get the message

Just looked at the Chronic and they say Harriott has actually just rejoined training but will not be ready for Derby.

Ejaria apparently, as was noticeable to many of us, suffered with tiredness in the Forest game as it was his first game in over a month so should look a lot more consistent next time out.

Sad to hear Obita won't be back any time soon. That's pretty much gotta be it for him.

When Gomes says he's not bringing Nova back I assume that's just early. Will be peeved if we let him walk in the summer.

Hopefully he does just mean termimating the loan early and if Novakovich us getting regular starts in Holland, it doesn't really make sense to bring him back if he's not going to get that here.

It’s comes as no surprise that Obita is out for the season. I was expecting it. I remember the Hull game last season when he was injured. He was in agony. I knew then he was out for a long time. It’s a massive shame for him and the club. Let’s hope he can return. He’s still young enough to have a good career.

Overall the injury list is now at a reasonable level although I would add McIntyre as he is still out. Hopefully Meite and Ezatolahi are in contention for the Bolton game.

Gunter, Rinomhota and Swift all booked at Bolton.

Oliveira has a minor muscle strain that makes him a doubt for Villa.

Bod missed Bolton due to injury but should be fit for Villa.

I didn't realise Baldock was injured just thought he wasn't part of Jose'e plans, was hoping we could unload him as think he is very poor player and doesn't seem to have any strengths apart from enthusiasm

Oliveira picked up a cut to his head but unknown how serious. Didn’t seem concussed so hopefully just a plaster job

Swift, Yiadom and Oliveira all booked

Sutekh, saw you had Bod listed as injured for the Bolton game. Do you know if he was still injured for today?
