Lolz at Barrow being injured after the earlier chat. Actually not lolz at all :(

Takes away from a decent half. We’ve been good - entertaining, enterprising and been all over Brum really. The forwards have worked well together , Baldock particularly good

Just been not quite there on a few final balls etc. Swift has been excellent generally but his passes just keep being not quite right

Yiadom has been ace. Really like him

NewCorkSeth Can someone describe the goal pls xxx

The goal is on Talk Reading. A neat one two in midfield resulted in Meite latching onto a through ball. He then hit a low drive past their keeper

Baldock has been so wasteful.

That was an easy win in the end. Most of that team had a solid game.

Meite wasn’t injured I don’t think

Good game, enjoyable and ultimately comfortable. Great goals, esp from Swift

Forwards were live wires but should have probably netted at least one each. Worked well together though and a reminder of how horrifically stodgy we’d become last season

Little harsh to pick out Pelle C but thought he was a little disappointing. Pretty much everyone else did well. Meite had an excellent spell in the 2nd and looks a talent. Worth thinking about a new contract I reckon

Good win, now need to take it to the league

Easy win , but I would have expected it, not one of the Brum team was in the starting line up Saturday, but all 7 on the bench did,
But you can only beat what`s in front of you.

This evening had the pleasing glow of an early 1990s midweeker, being comfortably better than some ghastly bunch of can't-be-arsed fuckwits from somewhere up north.

Yiadom was great, Moore was solid and I don't think I've ever typed this before but I thought Blackett was excellent.

O'Shea was good too, lots of LOLs late on, and I haven't seen such a display of assertive pointing, clapping and shouting since Andy Hughes mercifully fucked off.

Well that Coutney Friday on twitter reckoned he made a great save near the end,

Old Man Andrews

Royal Bison
Old Man Andrews
Snowflake Royal Presumably be some changes for this one.

I'd quite like to see some starts for at least some of Moore, McNulty, Clement, Rinomhota, Walker, Richards and Bacuna... not sure I can realistically see that many changes though. I'm assuming that the likes of Aluko, Popa and Harriott who didn't make the squad for Forest won't be ready by Tuesday. Most of the new signings should probably get time out there. The right side is a real problem though if Aluko, Popa and Gunter are all unavailable...

.....................Walker
Yiadom, Moore, Ilori, Richards
Meite, Bacuna, Meyler, Barrow
............McNulty, Baldock

Maybe?

Why the hell would you want to play Barrow in an early round League Cup game? He gets injured we are f*cked.

What are this week's lottery numbers?!
