Why were we so utterly abysmal in the first 30? All asleep

Normal service resumed

It’s utter tripe again

No creativity

31 minutes before a shot on goal

Now Aluko’s blocked a shot. Trouble is it was Meite’s shot

Aluko down in comic fashion. Hit by rebound off Meite shot

Norwich players get into a huddle

Reading players just hanging around....

Sutekh One word for this so far and it rhymes with trap

They're not as bad as me Shirley?

Previous poster is correct, worst first 4 league games since joining the FL is D1 L3 in 1928 and 1959.

In SL we also had D1 L3 in 1894. Even our 1st ever relegation season in 1909/10 we had a D2 L2 home league start.

Losing to a desperately average team playing Stam-ball

Great

At least we can all agree that first half performance was a heap of doo doos.

Deserve to be 3-0 down. Midfield just lacks any balance, Yiadom and Gunter look shocking. Meite is so limited it's scary.

I'd argue the Iranian fella has been signed to get the best out of Kelly to be honest. Kelly isn't as bad as people make out and he's doing the jobs in midfield that he quite frankly is not his strongest asset. With a big, strong and athletic midfielder alongside him that can do all the dirty work and create space for him (Williams springs to mind) then Kelly can focus on what we all know and have seen he is good at. Passing, and creating.

If that’s the case then he really needs to improve his passing and his creating.

+1

He's clearly been reading this thread at half time.

I was thinking that this was the worst RFC team ever in the 2nd tier - but then I remembered Terry the Taxi's "effort".

I'm half tempted to not go to another game whilst Gunter is at the club.
