18 points from 23 would be sickener!

But bottom will mean Ipswich got 7 points from 6 games and gained 9 goals of GD

Looking at Ipswich's next 6 and the way they played saturday, especially 1st half that really would't surprise me.
Can see them getting wins against brizzle & Wigan at home with draws against Stoke/Sheff Utd certainly a possibility.

Agreed. I thought they looked very good in that first half v us.

Fascinating how they could be so good, but then almost implode second half.

Confidence (and the lack of it) is a powerful thing.

They MAY climb out of trouble, (but let's remember they haven't won any games under the new manager)
and others like Bolton might keep dropping,

ATM Bolton would be my bet for 24th after 46 games (unless there are points-penalised clubs)

Anything above 7 points would be a bonus.

Zip
Hound Would hope for 9-10 points + from that lot

Thought it was a bit harder than that tbh

The Wigan game is very important. Win that and it’s seven from nine and a little bit of daylight. Lose with Leeds away to follow and the games start looking very difficult.

Very much agree. A win might very well turn our season round, whereas LL might rubber-stamp a likely relegation

A Wigan - W 1-2
A Leeds - D 1-1
H Stoke - D 0-0
H Sheffield United - W 3-2
A Rotherham - L 1-0
H Middlesboro - D 0-0

9 Points, would be magic.

I particularly would like to see us avoid defeat in the first two games and manage 1-2 clean sheets.

I could imagine (easily imagine) this starting with two defeats, but I also could see a good win and a lucky one.

I feel like this six might define our season, especially the first two.

I expect Rotherham to "blow" eventually and their home record not to be so good by season's end

H Stoke - WIN 2-1. 3 points
H Sheffield United. LOSE 1-2. No points
A Rotherham. Important WIN for us. 2-1. 3 points
H Middlesboro. Another home defeat. 1-3. No points

Probably lives in Rival Watch but thought it was worth pointing out that Millwall's December includes:

08-12-2018 Millwall vs Hull
15-12-2018 Preston vs Millwall
22-12-2018 Stoke vs Millwall
26-12-2018 Millwall vs Reading

Basically, the benchmark. If you can't predict better results...time to give up

8)

1.78 x 3.79 x 4.73

so let's say started with a bank of £600 to cover the 6 games at a fixed bet of £100

currently £879

heads up for tomorrow btw...

leo You may see red over a certain issue connected with an important relationship. In this situation it is better not to lose your temper because there is too much at stake. Take some time to calm down, and some space to think things through. Then when you feel ready, do some real talking, as it may solve the problem once and for all.

URZZZZ Wigan 1-3 Reading
Leeds 2-2 Reading
Reading 0-1 Stoke (typical Rowett performance)
Reading 2-1 Sheffield United
Rotherham 2-0 Reading (very strong at home)
Reading 1-0 Boro

Didn't get a single one right, only managed a pitiful return of 3 points in six games
