Sutekh Barrow on

Swift off

Second most hated player on for my most hated player, at least Barrow is direct and can actually create something, Swift really is gash, pub league player

Well, that's shut me up   point still stands about Swift though

Gourlay left in a hurry, I wonder if he was held to account for the managerial rotating door policy ?

Lol at the Stoke fans.

Great finish from Barrow. Thought we were a bit lucky but justice done after dirty McClean.

Delighted for Barrow after he fluffed his first chance. Good result. Look forward to writing my BFTG.

Royal_jimmy This ref is absolutely atrocious and I'm amazed he's not had more abuse.

That said we've been too soft and lacked common sense today.

Clement needs to go

Ref gave us a lifeline on Wednesday so that's not the prob here

Agree though I'd like to see that tackle on Meite again......

And the Gunter handball :D :D

Considering that was a patchwork side I thought we played quite well in phases although looked a bit toothless.

Jaakkola 7 little chance with either goal, needs more confidence on kicking
Yiadom 5 ok in their half, but takes a few too many risks in ours and his mix up with Ilori caused their second
Gunter 7 no help first half, defended ok, got forward ok. Best game for him in a while
Blackett 6 ok though clearly no partnership with Ilori, both positionally all over the place for the first
Ilori 4 some great, but at fault in both goals. And that pass to Stoke player under no pressure!
Rino 8 fast becoming one of our best and got a (deflected) assist
Bacuna 7 one or two sloppy moments but generally positive
Swift 3 absolute disgrace, first 20 minutes he was at least contributing in attack a bit, but his work rate was awful, the one time I noticedhim attempt a tackle it was wild and let to a break. Paying no attention to his man. No tracking. Slows everything down, gave the ball away under no pressure. Get Out.
Loader 5 mostly anonymous. Stoke too physical for him
McCleary 7 not a lot game off but tried hard.

Barrow 7 scored the equaliser but a bit wasteful
Meite 7 usual hard work and graft
Baldock 6 put himself about

Ref 4 dreadful - one of the worst I've seen in ages.

How did McNulty do? Nice to see him get his first goal, hopefully he can kick on

Just papers over the cracks - there is just so much wrong with Clement's "management" that it is not funny.

Statistically he is the worst manager in our football league history. 6 wins, 8 draws in 28 league games.

He has no idea what the best 18 is, and he chops and changes every match. His argument is that he is picking a team to counter the opposition in front of us. This is so negative. The best teams play to their OWN strengths. He just tries to nullify the opponents, hoping to nick a goal. Frankly he is simply not good enough to be a manager and MUST go NOW.

I like McNulty, he plays on the shoulder and is always looking for an early ball. Shame we never play it.

I don't think Clement did a lot wrong today assuming those regulars missing from the squad were injured. And let's face it, he's not picking McIntyre ahead of Moore of Meyler ahead of Kelly and then not bringing him on unless those two are out.

We got punished by two defensive oxf*rd ups in a patchwork defence from players who should know better. That's not management IMO.

If we had a decent midfielder on the bench then I'd have said Swift off between 30 and HT, but we didn't. And his subs rescued the point his defence had thrown away.

Rest for Meite, plus Barrow and Baldock on the mend and hopefully Moore and Kelly back from (assumed) illness and we can field a decent side next week, rather than the bare bones of this week.

Most of our changes are very obviously enforced.

Actually thought we played quite well today, as usual defensive lapses letting us down, we looked creative, on another day we could have won, or lost for that matter.
