Interesting fact...Man U have played Reading in the FA Cup more than any other side bar Liverpool and Spurs, which is surprising given our historic failure (pre 2000) to get beyond the 4th round.

Old Man Andrews
Silver Fox The worst of HNA on here and quelle surprise it's DD and OMA leading the charge. I've often said you shouldn't ban people just for being bad at the internet but these two clowns have to go as they'd no doubt encourage each other to say

Calm down Hitler. Old bastards like you are what is wrong here, you need to accept that people have opposing views than you. Just because you're happy to travel to Old Trafford to see us get spanked it doesn't mean I am. Tosser.

This.

There was Fleetwood, there was Grimsby, there was Shrewsbury, there was Lincoln City. But no, you're happy to go and get thrashed all the way up in Manchester by United reserves on the TV and halt our cup run before it's begun.

Daft. Head. In. Sand.

Bizarre.
It is fans like Silver Fox and Genome, and especially Ian Royal that are the reason why we are in decline as a club. Attitudes like theirs, when us 3 want winnable games that hardcore fans will go to and not daytrippers, are the problem with this club.

Woking away/L1/L2 away we have not played before>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>any prem or Champ team

How have you three worked out what side of the argument I'm on as to whether this is a good draw or not?

Serious question. Are Manchester United your 2nd team?

I know for some reason I am often in conflict with you Foxy but today I am very much in sympathy with you and your engagement with people who post on here far too often and with so little to say of any significance.

Moving on... how about this cracker from Jose?

Mourinho says Reading, who sit 21st in the Championship table, will present a similar challenge to the games his side face week in, week out in the top flight.

"I think the Championship teams are much better than before," Mourinho said on MUTV.

"They are very, very, very similar teams, not just in the potential but the way they play, to many Premier League teams.

"So to play against Reading is no different to me to playing against the majority of Premier League teams."

Not sure if it's been mentioned but FA Cup fourth round weekend will be the Bolton away one (26th Jan). Assuming that we lose, Bolton have to get past Walsall/Sunderland at home so there's every chance that game will be moved to midweek, if our attendance would have been originally poor, imagine how bad it will be on a cold Tuesday night in Bolton considering we only managed 7,000 at home last season at around the same time

Oh. My. Goodness. Thank you for bringing that to my attention! 100% IN for Bolton midweek if that happens

Wonder if they put us up in the stratosphere again, as last time. I’d bring binoculars, but no doubt they’d get confiscated as lethal weapons. At least Fellaini was easy enough to identify..

leon What is a day tripper?

I went to the Arsenal game at Highbury in 2005 - think it was my only away game that season. mrs leon was up the stick and I had a house to finish off.

Does that make me a day tripper?

Yes. That’s also a gratuitous reference to mrs leon.
