I can't read
I can't write
That don't really matter
I come from West Berkshire
And I can drive a tractor

Sung to a Wurzels tune I cant remember

paultheroyal
Henleyensian
RFC13LHR was in Portsmouth City,
Where the girls are so pretty,
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly
Malone,
She wheeled her wheelbarrow,
Through streets wide and narrow,
Singing
[clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]
[clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] PORTSMOUTH
http://www.footballchants.org/viewChant ... mouth&p=22
is it really ours??

I nevr knew that Portsmouth claimed it, but as far as I am concerned,it has been Reading's song for many many years.

I, like a previous poster favour "Always on my mind" I don't know of any other club using it, and it has a "sweeping" kind of melody like "You'll never walk alone" has.

I sait in the West stand and though there a a few around me who will join in, you need a strong voice to be able to start songs so we rather rely on the East stand and North stand groups.

Did we get to the bottom of this?

We were singing Molly at Elm Park in 1965, along with Daisy Daisy for Dennis Allen. I also liked "We're the mob from under the clock, tick tock, under the clock. "
But then l was only 13 :-)

Do we have a song for Jordan Obita? How about...

"If you like Jordan Obita on the left wing join our club"

At least everybody knows the tune.

Hes been here since he was 8 years old.

Not sure why you would want to copy a Spurs song.

Has anyone suggested a lot of clapping followed by some variation on the club's name or nickname?

Why do bother posting on here? I assume you post double the amount on the Chelsea boards as you have absolutely no life?

This is like watching an WWE match only without the wrestling or entertainment elements.
