Dellors interviewing technique of BMD after the game is truely woeful.

Can anyone tell me why Dellor asks a question to MCD, then offers an answer in the same breath, which of course McD agrees with? Maybe he is trying to show how wonderful he is? or....

Dellor is a McD love child, or MCD has polaroids of Dellor in a compromising position or Dellor is a crap interviewer.

Answers on a postcard..

Game not kicked off yet and my blood is at boiling point.
These people are supposed to be experts.
Do they not know about the 25 squad and under 21's.

Agreed! They're having a bit of a nightmare. And then Ady Williams has the nerve to laugh when texters criticise their lack of knowledge!

She did get Adi in a right panic though when she mentioned McDermott needing to kick the players up the arse! Seems that the prudes at the BBC think 'arse' is a swear word. Suggest they check the dictionaries and look for its origins.

Anyway, Adi was so worried that he accused the next caller of swearing too (which he didn't) and cut him off mid call - Arse!

As broadcasters/journalists I think it's reasonable to expect that they ought to know a pretty basic element of the football regulations.

Arsenal had Cazola playing today according to Dellor. Or as Ady Williams calls him carzola.

Dellor just keeps trying to have a pop at Anton today. Get over it & back the new manager.

"Is Danny fox related to Ruel Fox Mick?"

When he asked Nigel about why he made 5 changes, Nigel replied "we got beat 4-1 last week".

Quite right. 3 of us agree they are very negative and were so far up Arsenal last week.

Adkins was fairly snappy in the post match, wasn't he? 'You made five changes' 'I don't have to justify anything'

Could we have another Brendan on our hands?

NA certainly sounded a lot more abrasive than McD - it was a fair question from Tim I thought. He could have said "I felt after last week's result, I'd try a few changes. We have 6 games left to try and get out of this, but if we don't, at least I will have tried a few different team formations, which will set us up for next season." Or something. Fact is, he is the manager, and he should be justifying himself/his actions to the fans if a question is asked.

Plus he refered to Southampton as "We".

I believe we are all set for Rodgers mk II, just look at his "embrace the challenge" comments.. Mr. big windbag the 2nd has arrived!

Couldn't care less, as long as the team gets results on the pitch.

So after we've been kindly treated to snippets of Reading FC throughout the off season on the Tim Dellor show, when we finally have a game Radio Berkshire don't even bother to go!! Yet he went all the way to Portugal to commentate on those matches!! I don't think Tim cares about Reading FC or the fans - he just cares about going off on a jolly! I know it's only a friendly but it's against a decent premier league side, it'll finally give us a realistic idea of what we might be able to expect from our boys this season, and it's the first game with this squad at the Mad Stad! Basically if it doesn't suit Tim Dellor's ego he won't do it.
Yesterday Tim was doing racing and spent most of the time talking about Liz Hurley and what it's like to give birth! Then at the end it was a repeat of Ady talking about women's clothes at Royal Ascot!
On the plus side, I thought Glenn Little did a reasonably decent job.
