All quite positive then.

I was only aware of them from the god awful Bolton kits they peddle every year, but maybe they’ll do ours a bit better.

Old Man Andrews
Hendo If it is going to be Macon,, this is a useful link - https://www.macron.com/uk/en/content/sponsorship

Some nice modern looking designs there for me.

My sons junior team used to have Macron kits. They are very flexible with designs, pretty much can do whatever you want with them. Bit different to the paint by numbers kits you get from Nike or Adidas.

The bench coats are really something else. The Helsinki model is pretty much the perfect bench coat.

Where has this rumour come from that we are going to be Macron next season?

I think this season kits are quite smart for Bolton, especially their 3rd kit

Don’t get your hopes up, I wasn’t joking when I said it will be Macron.

Don't think Macron would be that bad. Looks like they do some nice clean designs, with a modern twist. Doesn't look like they are 100% template design, which Adidas, Nike and Puma all seem to be.

And, they aren't likely to charge the earth for their kits, which the big boys seem to do. £90 for an 'authentic match' kit (or whatever they call it).

Only odd thing is the logo on the arm, but I am not too bothered with that.

Looking at Boltons the pricing seems dearer than ours this year - £48 basic shirt £70 for numbers and league badges compared to our Puma ones - £48, £68. Saying that the club crest looks nicely stitched on the Bolton one and the shirt in general looks much higher quality.

As an aside - our official website is absolute shite. It's one of the worst websites I've ever used. Clunky, dead links, broken boarders, multiple ways to access parts of the store which all look different or don't work. It's horrific. Didn't we used to win awards for the best website in the league?

Imagine the scenes if Gourlay gets a double sponsorship for both the kit and the stadium naming rights with Macron. Or maybe it's the newly found Italian connections.

They do have strong links in Italy, but Lazio, Udinese and Sporting Lisbon are hardly L1.

Could be due to them being an Italian brand ;)

No problem with Macron. We will almost certainly see their name on the seats as well which would see the removal of ‘Madejski Stadium’. This may also tie in to stadium sponsorship as I know talks with several potential suitors have taken place over the last 6 months.

Whatever happened to Brooks (the kit manufacturer before Pelada)?
