Really don't think JM has ever recovered from that incident with the Chelsea doctor. The players would have seen that as disgusting no doubt and the fact he questioned and was disrespectful to a medical professional who is there to look after the players is deeply wrong. I don't think he has ever truly recovered from that incident.

His management style is dated now, he hasn't adapted as the years went on. The time when you could just freeze out players and publicly criticise them is over. The modern player is now a much more sensitive soul and you have to have a balance which I think he doesn't have at all. He is definitely on borrowed time.

Mourinho was a manager of his time.

He arrived with no baggage, spend outrageous sums of money (for the time) and with it acted like top dog, swaggering around offering put downs and one liners all over the place, he was the media's darling and he was a winner. Others caught up financially, he went through a rocky spell and so the whole personality no longer fitted with his on pitch achievements.

I don't think his personality has changed all that much tbh, it just no longer fits. Many of his comments now would in the past have had Geoff Shreeves gurning away and spunking in his pants at how wise and witty 'the special one' was, they now just look like cheap digs and sour feelings because he is no longer a 'winner'

Disagree with that Winston. When he first came over he was charismatic and engaging. His comments were full of confidence and bravado, with a degree of antagonism and provocation thrown in.

He seems like a bitter old man now and the bravado has all but disappeared.

Completely agree with Hooper.

I always used to say JM used to be the cheeky chap who said things with a glint in his eye and a wink. He was a character, charismatic, funny, engaging and was colourful. Someone you wanted to hear from as there would be something said to get a headline.

Now he's just a grey, miserable, bitter washed up has been. Everything he says or does seems to have an air or bitterness and misery about it. There is no cheekiness or fun there, nothing engaging.

I suspect the players sense this and see it.

Gone was the confidence and swagger. That alpha male type arrogance which is a good trait. Now what's left is just a dishevelled out of date and miserable old man who is still trying to bark about how special he and his teams are

He was always a pcunt, but yeah, there did used to be life in those dead shark eyes.

He wouldn't look out of place with a dog and sleepingbag sat on a card board box outside an offy now if you took away the expensive clothes.

I hope Leicester go down with Brighton.

In terms of who else, torn between Watford, Cardiff and Fulham.

I think I'll choose Fulham as the team I want to see go down too

Did they sign Sanchez to play on the left wing? No width in that United team they could not keep hold of the ball. Fred just looks a fouling machine his passing was terrible. Rashford is not good enough for a top team. Once again the keeper saves them. A long season for the not so special one.

On reflection, I might join you. Fck Reading.

Man City, Real, Barca and Bayern for me. Er, my Dad comes from all of those places, so it’s legit.

Fair point

But Currist....did you ever watch Chelsea?

Man U were hunting down Mo for years

Enjoying the car crash.com...and it’s nothing that hasn’t been deserved for a year or two as a result of their obsession with the ham actor
