John Smith How on earth do sides like Kiribati fund the travel?

I wonder what the standard is like. Might pop down to a game if I can be arsed.

Mate and myself are planning a weekend of it - four grounds now, so all you need is an all-day travel card. And Green's encyclopediac knowledge of London drinking spots jotted down in a notebook.

Rather like the Enfield Town stadium:

Anyway, given spells in Milan, Turin and Rapallo, it'll be Padania for me.

NB When I say 'Mate', sadly, I do not mean Peter Mate. :x

NB2 bought Up Pohnpei which is about the Pohnpei side of the mid noughties. Its quite good.

Enfield isn't great for pubs - McMullen and Greene King cheap eats/hungry horse type places tend to domin8. Not an area I know all that well although could point you in the direction of a few decents one down towards Winchmore Hill.

Camden Town have opened a new brewery in the area - if they do tours it might be worth checking out. No real ale but the tour would no doubt be good (meantime style).

It turns out they don't manage to do it, and they've been replaced by Tuvalu.

Shame that Felvidék didn't get drawn against Székely Land.

Székely Land are going to be the clear and deserved winners of this thing. Really hope they are in one of the games at Bracknell Town!

Hope it doesn't turn out to be a dead rubber. Or a damp squib.

Did you manage to go in the end?

Tibet vs Northern Cyprus on the Saturday was great fun.

I went as well. The Tibet fans were terrific. Oddly, most of them were female, and quite a lot of kids too.

I think Karpatalya had one supporter there. There may have been more, but I one saw one. Each of their five goals was scored to total silence, whereas Tibet's consolation goal was cheered like a 90th minute winner.

I might go to the 15th/16th play-off at Bedfont on Saturday. If Tibet are in that, I'd certainly go.

The men are probably still over there herding yaks.

If that isn't a racist/sexist thing to say.

My hopes of seeing Tibet in the 15th/16th play-off are dashed. The Isle of Mann team pulled out of the tournament in protest at Barawa being allowed to use a player not in their official squad, which means their "losers' QF" opponents, Tibet, were given a bye to the next round.

Not that the reprieve helped Barawa much - they got lumped 0-8 by Northern Cyprus in their QF.

It probably means no 15/16 play-off at all, now.

au contraire

everyone is playing six games.

Tibet play Kabilya on Thursday - win and its in Aveley (nope, Green?) at 1500 on the 9th, lose and it'll be at the delightful Fisher FC ground in Rotherhithe at noon on the same day.

just in addition, Chagos Islands have stepped in to fulfil the Manx teams fixtures. One's against Matabeleland, the other will be sorted after Thursdays fixtures.

Just back from watching the QF clash at Bracknell between Padania and Punjab. Cracking game very competitive, Padania winning 2-0 and look very good defensively . Only disappointment was the small crowd of about 150. Also went to an earlier game at Slough when Punjab won 8-0 again crowd was quite small only about 200.

Yes, but with only 15 teams left, a full set of fixtures would be impossible.

As said above though, Chagos Islands have taken over the IoM's fixtures, so there will be a full set of games after all. Chagos Islands v Tuvalu in the 15th/16th play-off must be highly likely.

Does anyone know what happens when you have two games at the same venue on a single day. Does the £12 ticket get you into both games, or do they kick everyone out and make them pay again if they want to watch the second game?

Upminster (end of the district line) and keep going

Famous for their brass band, if you're into that kind of thing which I appreciate the vast majority of people aren't.

Want to get behind the Chagos lads but hang on, don't they want independence from us?

Not sure that's really cricket.
