A bit of a surprise this - he seemed nailed on for Liverpool with his links to Klopp, but Christian Pulisic is to join Chelsea for €64m, staying on loan at Dortmund until the summer. Very, very good signing, he's been a great prospect for years, and keeps getting better.

Rumoured that Liverpool turned their attentions some time ago to RB Leipzig's Timo Werner.

One rumour I'd read over the last couple of days was Danny Drinkwater to Palace.

I'd completely forgotten he even existed!

^This!

Carl Jenkinson too, he's 26 now, and has barely played at Arsenal for years.

Be interesting to see how this works out, Pulisic is a great player but Dortmund have improved this season without him really being a part of it - hence why they are happy to sell at a very decent price. Would imagine he will be a replacement for Hazard hence why he is staying til the summer.

Jean-Clair Todibo agrees to join Barcelona on a free this summer. Teenager who sounds very highly thought of in France, gets compared to Varane a lot

European football thread favourites Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs De Ligt are the 2 to keep eyes on this window. Could go for huge money, superstars in the making there (especially the latter)

Alan Judge set to sign for Ipswich. Was really highly rated a few seasons ago. Never really recovered after breaking his leg against... Ipswich.

I felt he deserved the high ratings that season Brentford got to the playoffs. Even still, I think Ipswich's problems lie with an out and out goalscorer more than a playmaker. James Collins is a good signing at the back though. I think they're already doomed, however.

I am annoyed on behalf of Manchester United supporters that they aren't after Matthijs De Ligt. Crazy of them not to go out and get him.

Morata to Atletico Madrid. What a flop he's been.

Combine that with Bakayoko and Drinkwater, that's nearly £150m wasted.

Piatek reportedly on his way to AC Milan for €35M

Never seen much of him but regularly hear him get raved about.
