Speculation - Tom Bradshaw

by Royal_jimmy » 15 Aug 2015 10:57

Got 17 goals in 30 games for Walsall in league one. Only 23 years of age and a player we could get for a million perhaps.

Thoughts?

If we offered them £2m they'd accept. When a club says a player isn't for sale it's all mind games

Cox for Bradshaw

Bit of a gamble, but might work for all involved.
We would still need another forward tho, unless HRK is going to be played in the strikers role

Tom Bradshaw Walsall knocking in goals for fun ATM. Personally I would keep cox buy Bradshaw and another marquee signing striker. If we miss out on beric we should have 4 million in the kitty and our wage bill must be quite nice now with all the players gone out. Only really HRK on big money. 1.5 million bid for Bradshaw and find another for 2.5/3 million. 3 days to go not holding my breath.

A post full of uneducated assumptions.

Clueless.

Yeah but Walsall are hardly going to accept an exchange involving a failed striker for their own top striker? And maybe Cox doesn't want to move to League 1 ....

HRK in the strikers role isn't going to solve our goal-scoring woes.

Cox was a success at that level, and could be again imho.
And even if we subsidise his wages for a season it could work well for both clubs and players.
