Apparantly the player has rejected the move

Wow, well that makes a lot of sense to me

Just for the record though can anyone actually translate that article accurately into English?

Tomi Juric (25) wants to remain at the end of the current season at the Lucerne. The Australian national player with Croatian roots has won an attractive offer from FC Reading from the second highest English league, as FCL sports coordinator Remo Gaugler said Tuesday morning against the Luzerner Zeitung.

For the FCL the 2.5 million francs, which provided Reading for Juric as a detachment sum, would have been a highly welcome transferenahme. As is well known, the Innerschweizer Super League has been fighting for years with a structural deficit of 2 million Swiss francs.

From a sporting point of view, however, Juric's provisional fate remains pleasing. Lucerne coach Markus Babbel can also count on three tried and tested strikers in the previous round with Juric, Marco Schneuwly (31) and Cedric Itten (20).

Reading Post saying that the story was `rubbish` anyway.

I really hope we can bring in a striker before 11pm tonight :|
