Are you new here, m8?

No. But I'm not sure what that would have to do with anything?
Jerry St Clair I have developed a real affection for the Robins, while my affection for Reading is waning. If they ever played each other I genuinely don't know where my allegiance would lie. There's a good chance I'd find myself in the away end of the Madejski. Something I never, ever thought could happen.

^ This is the most worrying and painful thing I've ever read on this forum - you are a total disgrace and a joke. You've got to go.

Thanks, that's high praise. Where do I pick up my prize?

On the Cheltenham forum - bye.

Eisa scored against a Reading side at Hogwood this week. Portsmouth and Peterborough remain keen but Sunderland appear to have made the best bid so far, just shy of the £1.5m that it would take to land him.

I'm not writing McNulty off at all, but personally I wish we had spent just a little bit extra to get Eisa in as he will only get better and more valuable as a club asset (I would imagine McNulty's value has peaked). In terms of playing style, I also think he would be better suited to compliment what (little) we already have in the squad.

I accept It's almost certain we wouldn't go for another L2 striker in the same window, so the club clearly cannot have been in for Eisa. I'm guessing whoever was managing our 'team' in this friendly would have been letting the powers that be know if he had shown enough to take the punt, but realistically I can't see anything happening on it even if I think we have missed a trick here.

FWIW (and although he wouldn't be my choice) I don't think Baldock would be a terrible signing, depending on cost. I wouldn't complain if we made up for missing out on Eisa by taking Kodjia from Villa though, even if it's several years later than it should have been. Just to be clear, yes I do know we wouldn't actually offer the kind of cut-price fee Villa would accept.

I’m not sure Villa would accept a cut price for Kodija and his wages would be sky high

Be interesting to see where Eisa goes, but it won’t be here

EISA doesn't sound like as good an investment as it would a few years ago
