Idle Speculation - Steven Caulker.

Looks like he will be joining Wigan and obviously only became a free agent after we had signed O'Shea but I wouldn't have minded him on a free.

We don't fancy another CB to go along with the 5 we have do we?

Well I would have thought McShane would be off somewhere in January, probably would need a replacement.

You think? Seems harsh but would probably be the right move for the club. He's not as good as Moore or Ilori and has nowhere near the experience of O'Shea. And I guess Blackett is younger?

The bloke must know his time is up? I don't think he is injured at all, he's been dropped for that shit show at Blackburn, the bloke is doomed as long as Clement is around. He is meant to be the club captain but hasn't said a word recently, quiet as a mouse. I don't like that.

McShane is definitely on the way out. Shouldn't have been given the extra year. Caulker may have been ok, though adding another player to our squad, and one with his own personal problems, prob not the best idea

Absolutely. I like the guy but it's blatantly obvious that he simply has to go.

Caulker has had 9 clubs and is 26 - he's bad news.

It was interesting to read in Noel Hunt's recent article that opened up about his previous sides about how high a regard he held Luke Chambers. I know he's 32 but maybe get him in for a season or two?

Absolutley no need to bring in any more centrebacks. Loads of good ones queueing up at the club
