Sutekh
WoodleyRoyal how many loan players can you field at one time?

Edit: found it - In the EFL, clubs are permitted to have eight players on loan. However, only a maximum of five can be included in a matchday squad.

Not a problem until Eza gets fit again. Should he ever be fit again.

Presumably if he wasn’t close to fitness we’d have terminated the loan ?

Nameless Decent international experience, decent loan spells in Europe.

I’m not a great fan of packing a team full of loans. Our 106 side was particularly special because it wasn’t based on using other people’s players.
I understand Gomes has a short term objective and this is probably the most realistic way of achieving it. Would be nice to know if any of the deals have a buy option should we stay up.

just don't think we can attract the quality of player we need whilst in our perilous position.
and that is understandable

Very likely that at least one of those 6 will be injured at any one time. Eza clearly has a way to go, I suspect he made enough of an impression that they'd like to see him when fit again, potentially with a view to signing permanently at the end of the season

Yeh, would have to question the motives/sanity of anyone wanting to join us permanently atm.

Old Man Andrews
PremAddict I like this signing. Seen him several times playing for USMNT and he can play. Has done well against formidable national team opponents.

How well has he done exactly? Was in a USMNT group that were embarrassed in the last World Cup qualification campaign. They also only have to play against Mexico, how formidable are Trinidad and Tobago exactly?

I was’t speaking solely of CONCACAF qualifiers, Also in the friendlies for the build-up to last year where they were playing strong sides. He’s good.

Weren’t Reading actually linked with signing him permanently when he was playing in the US, before Chelsea signed him up for their loan squad?

More likely won't make the grade. Remember Álex Fernández.

Yes that loan signing that actually looked like he might be decent had he been given half a chance. Certainly think he’d fit into Gomes’ plans too.

Yeah tbh, likelihood is that at least 2 of them won’t work out brilliantly

That Cooper lad at Millwall looked pretty good earlier.

Wonder where they got him from.
