Sutekh And the League Cup 1st Round draw will be made in Ho Chi Minh City at 10.45 am on Friday 15th June 2018

Unique rhythm & pulse I'm sure but why Ho Chi Minh?

Because the Football League believe that the football mad masses of South East Asia are crying out to see Stoke City reserves take on Accrington on a wet Tuesday evening.

don't mind that really - home game, will prob go along, and not really care a great deal if we win or not.

No extra time to worry about it either now

Are Birmingham the most northern side in the southern half of the draw? I would never remotely consider them a southern team but I suppose it just shows how many more northern teams there are in the football league.

The champ alone is about 75% northern.

Split in the draw was 15 Champ clubs in the North, 9 in the South.

Remember a few years back teams like Mansfield occasionally turning up in the south section of the football league trophy to balance up the numbers, which gives an idea of the balance of north/south in the footy league. Mansfield is proper northern.

West Brom

The Hawthorns is (according to Wikipedia) is 52.5090 degrees north.
Villa Park is 52.5091 degrees north.
The Villians win, but only just! Wiki. does not state where in the ground those measurements are taken, so can we call it draw?

Just checkedi again Carrow Road is 52.622 degrees north, so Norwich City win according to Google, not Wiki.

Maybe their the "Israel" of the North. They have to play in our section as their so hated and pose a threat to the rest of the teams?
That really doesn't make any sense why they would play in the southern section.
