Trains from Kings Cross to Hull dirt cheap for April 6 away game.

I got return tickets for me and the boy for just £25. All in.

Hull isn’t too far from me, but if their ridiculous ‘everyone pays the same’ is still in place for our match, I’m out!

I just did a search on the national rail website and the cheapest tickets between Reading and Hull are £82 . . . .

I`ve got £44.90 with a railcard, that takes into account travel from ding to Kings X. so I would say pretty accurate from the OP.

Never trust the website to show the real cheapest tickets for a long journey.

Almost always going to be beneficial to split tickets.

If you buy Reading to Kings X and Kings X to Hull separately it’s about £55 at the moment as some advance singles left for the London/Hull part of the journey.

Aren’t privatised rail networks a thing of great beauty

Drive to Ickenham. Park there for the day for £2. Get the tube to Kings Cross then get a return train to Hull for £25.
I use a family and friends railcard to get the price down. Plus booking long in advance and travelling off peak. All the ingredients for low cost train travel.

Ickenham is only 5 mins by car for me. I appreciate for most of our support it will be a lot further than that and people may not want to do train and car.

Norwich return is £30.2 for 2 adults And 1 kid and for Boro away, I just paid £85 for 2 adults and 1 kid.

I could have got Boro train tickets for £55. But the train journey would be half an hour longer and I would arrive later at 12:40. I paid a bit more to arrive earlier in order to have lunch in Boro.

Hull away is a really underrated game. KCOM stadium's pretty decent and relatively central, the City itself is full of nice architecture and the pubs in the Old Town are absolutely fantastic, and all within stumbling distance if each other.

Sky have only made picks up to the end of March so far.

I would be amazed if our game was picked.

I checked and Sky will confirm TV picks on Friday. I guess then the tie will be as fixed as it can be.

They've still got Ipswich (a) on the website. Poor show.

Do the commercial department walk?

They play QPR this weekend and it would appear they are continuing with their flat rate policy of £18.00 for all age band tickets.

Not too bloody shabby if you ask me
