Team news

Peterborough's squad could feature ex-Reading player Martin Williams who has joined Peterborough on a three month loan after it failed to work out for the player at Swindon Town. The away side could also feature Arsenal goalkeeper Stuart Taylor who signs for Peterborough on loan this week. The Royals seem certain to stick to the team that won away at Brentford last weekend. Loan player Adrian Whitbread will partner Adrian Viveash in the centre of defence and it Martin Butler will start up front alongside Jamie Cureton. Rougier will feature on the bench.

Reading - from: Whitehead, Newman, Viveash, Whitbread, Murty, Parkinson, Caskey, Igoe, Jones, Cureton, Rougier, Butler, McIntyre, Howie, Hunter, Gray.

Peterborough - from: Taylor, Tyler, Scott, Lee, Rea, Edwards, Farrell, Oldfield, Clarke, Gill, Williams, Forinton, Hanlon, Shields, Hooper, Connor, Green.
