Team news

Reading will once again be without striker Nicky Forster who is expected to be out for many months after breaking down in training at the end of last week. However Martin Butler could make a much needed return up front to partner new signing Tony Rougier.

Reading - from: Whitehead, Newman, Robinson, Viveash, Hunter, Caskey, Parkinson, Hodges, Igoe, McIntyre Smith, Butler, Henderson, Rougier, Scott, Polston.

Swindon - from: Griemink, Robinson, Davis, Alexander, Invincibile, Dukes, Howe, O'Halloran, Reeves, Grazioli, Cowe, Willis, Hewlett, Griffin, Cobian.

Predictions Reading kicked off the season with a 0-2 defeat at Millwall, meanwhile Swindon Town kicked off their season with a poor result - drawing 0-0 at home to Colchester United. Although Reading put in a below average performance at least it was away at one of the Division's favourite sides for promotion.
So Reading to grab their first goals of the season but Swindon still not finding the net.
An easy 3-0 win for the Royals with the home advantage, in front of approximately 15,000 fans
