Form Guide

Reading may be the most in-form team in the Division, but Bristol City certainly won't make it easy for the Royals despite a poor overall run of results. Last Friday night City did Reading plenty of favours by beating league leaders Millwall at Ashton Gate. Four players were sent off - two from each side - as Bristol City won with an injury time penalty from substitute Lee Matthews. With Millwall losing and having a couple of players up for suspensions, and Reading winning 2-1 at Wrexham, the Royals now look like they could overtake Millwall as the season draws to a close. Reading will be looking for a twelve game without league defeat - but most importantly a home win which would make it nine wins from twelve league games.

2000/2001 Season:
When we met in the league earlier this season it was really one of those games for the travelling fans to forget as the Royals went down by four goals. The scoreline was a repeat of our stuffing the Auto Windscreens trophy earler in the year.
21 Oct 2000: Bristol City 4 Reading 0 (League Division Two)

1999/2000 Season:
During the 1999-2000 season Bristol City got the better of the Royals - but we did manage a home win from our three encounters. Brebner and Crawford got the goals as the Royals started the season in winning ways.
