Form Guide

Although Reading's form has dipped a little bit it's nothing as bad as Bristol Rovers run of recent bad results. Rovers last eight league games have bought just five points - with five defeats. Rovers last two games have been straight defeats - losing away at local rivals City on Friday night 2-3 and being beaten at home by Stoke 0-3 the week before. In the FA Cup Rovers were stuffed 1-5 at Cardiff in round one. Rovers home form has been amazingly bad - so bad that they haven't won at home all season. Reading put two defeats behind them to beat Luton Town 4-1 on Saturday - so this should be a good chance of an away win.

Previous Meetings

Reading have had the upper hand over Bristol Rovers through the years:
Reading wins: 39
Draws: 18
Bristol Rovers wins: 31

Last season Reading pulled off an amazing triple over Bristol Rovers - winning twice in the league and once at Bristol in the Auto Windscreens trophy. Rovers managed just the one goal in all three meetings - and that was scored by Jamie Cureton when Reading won at the Memorial against the odds.
