Re: Thanks Noel

Hunty >>>>>>>>>>> Blackman  Not convinced one bit about Blackman, has not made the most of his oppurtunities. One cross to set up Alf yesterday. Much prefer Hunt, 100% all the time, would score far more than Blackman ever will. Cash in and get rid of Blackman.

Re: Arsenal: Back from the procession

Pog's best performance in a reading shirt, didn't give the ball away once and was the only player to look like he was trying and still people criticise him  Twice in the 1st half, before Arsenal ran riot, Pog set up good chances, Cutting in from the right he squared the ball and MacDuff hit it...

Re: RUMOUR - Garath McCleary

From the Slough Town website on former players Garath McCleary McCleary started his career on schoolboy forms at Oxford United before being released and signing for neighbours Oxford City playing in the same side as former defender Andy Ballard. Consistent performances which have left opposition tea...

Re: RUMOUR - Garath McCleary

Sure I saw him on loan at Slough Town in the mid 2000s when Slough were ground sharing with Windsor and Eton. Don't think he was at Slough when Brian McD was manager though, that was a few years before. 9 goals which includes 4 in one very strange game isn't prolific but a good squad player, and on ...

Re: Tomasz Cywka joins

As he's now signed I'll post here what I put on the Rumours board earlier. From a friend of mine who's a Rams fan. " If I was taking over a club and putting in millions of pounds, Tomasz Cywka wouldn't be the first player on my list! He came in on loan from Wigan in the back end of 2009/10 and ...

Re: RUMOUR - Tomasz Cywka

Here's an opinion from a friend of mine, a keen Rams fan. " If I was taking over a club and putting in millions of pounds, Tomasz Cywka wouldn't be the first player on my list! He came in on loan from Wigan in the back end of 2009/10 and did OK, but given we were really bad at at that time he p...

His wife wouldn't pick box number 3 during the game "As that's my husband's football shirt number and it's always unlucky !" Mind you she did win £5,000 in the end

MATT "Rooster" ROBINSON

As well as being a Royals fan since 90-91 I am also sad enough to watch "Deal Or No Deal"". Recorded it today while watching Chelsea commit suicide and watched it later. Woman called Steph Robinson from Swindon was the contestant and her husband Matt was one of the box openers. Yes it...

Re: Mooney set for exit

This only shows that we are NOT going to sign a striker int he January window. Surely Mooney could have gone the other way in any such deal with a League 1 or 2 side. Austin looks likely to go to a bigger (or more ambitious) club than us. How about Bradley Wright-Phillips from Plymouth? 12 League g...

Re: Mooney set for exit

The Daily Mail says that Blackpool's bid is short of Argyle's £650,000 valuation. Mooney plus the £650k might have swung the deal. Wright-Phillips is likely to be cheaper than Austin. But at the end of the day SJM doesn't want to spend anymore money.

Re: We clearly are not signing anyone in January

Plymouth will probably be having a fire sale to pay off their debts to HMRC. Bradley Wright-Phillips anyone? Being reralistic he wouldn't be a major signing but capable at Championship level and more goals in him that Long or Church I suggest. I still think Noel Hunt will come good again when fully ...

Re: England vs Bulgaria - ITV1 8pm

Who else saw dear old Boris on TV with his lovely wig on? Maybe we should sign his son!! Dear old Boris, a Reading legend, well he was when his wig nearly came off during one game. He's done very well for himself as the record cap winner and now head of the Bulgarian FA. As Reading goalkeeper he wa...

Re: Back from the game WBA

While Federici made some good saves I thought he could have come and claimed the ball that led to the first goal. Rasiak still looks too slow, his pass for Church was his best contribution. Try Chuch and Thor at the Palace.

Re: Win the Cup or stay up?

Pompey won the FA CUP 2 years ago but what are they remembered for now? If we can stay up our young team, with a bit of experienced loan help, can be mid to upper half next season, maybe playoffs the season after. Use common sense, staying up must be the prority

Re: Back from Plymouth

Living in Cornwall for the last few years we don't get to many games but always make the Argyle games. Previously two entertaining 2-2 draws but this was EMBARRASSING Only one team looked up for the game and it wasn't Reading. No effort or passion. Their mobile front men were far too good for our ce...
