Re: Rival Watch

Been watching ben fosters YouTube serious he had called the cycling gk. Really good little weekly videos and recommend it, has a go pro in his goal which was good. Obvious the reading episode is best https://youtu.be/OyIG4ssn_yE Typically the EFL want to take it down as the videos break their rules...

Re: Rival Watch

Laughable goal for Watford against Stoke. Ball got smashed against the crossbar and on the line but not over, keeper grabbed it and Pedro ran into the keeper and he fell over the line in a blatent foul. The refs goal decision watch then buzzed off to say it was a goal and it counted. Quite true - h...

Re: Rival Watch

Ascotexgunner Are Derby trying to get relegated? They are doing a brilliant job if they are.

Easily the worse team we've played.

Since then we have played 3 teams expected to be at the bottom all looked much better than them.

Mind you even they drew at Bournemouth.

Re: Rival Watch

Not quite sure how we are 4th! Take it though. Stoke will rightly be annoyed about our first which should have been a foul on the goalie after he'd saved an original shot from Cleverly which hit the bar and bounded down before our striker knocked the ball and goalie into the net. So the ref gave the...

Simmops Liver pool losing

Looks like they won eventually.

Can come out of mourning for Van Dijk now.

They will still win the league anyway - I mean did you see the Chelsea Man U game!

Re: Rival Watch

I think Bournemouth deserved a point but they also could have had 2 sent off. Always seems to be so feisty and contentious against them! Goodman annoyed me - kept going on about the high quality - premier league sides yawn. Wasn't that good from what I saw Goodman is annoying full stop and biased t...

Re: VAR

Coote made a bad mistake in the Spurs v Chelsea game last season which he was called out for mid-match!

Maybe just a rubbish ref?

Another penalty call in the Sheff United v Fulham game.

Trouble for me is that it's so subjective anyway and we seem to be debating decisions even more than ever!

Re: VAR

I'll probably live to regret this but it is nice in this league to talk about the game and VAR. Makes it feel a bit more real. Last season 4 goals were given wrongly (admitted by the PGMOL) against us for handballs not spotted. Now we weren't very good and deserved to be at the bottom but who knows ...

Re: Rival Watch

We weren't great attacking wise again but scored a wonder goal to win it.

Derby looked pretty ineffective as well apart from Rooney.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Yes, because they sold them all. What a shame! Seems so unfair that teams relegated from the PL aren't able to keep all of their PL stars and instead are expected to compete with Championship type squads! The fact they were bemoaning their missing creative players after today's game would suggest t...

Re: BFT Watford

Wasn't the Watford manager a total contrast during the game. Looked withdrawn and detached. He does seem to be a quite and reserved type of guy....how long will he last!? Cannot complain really about the result given after that opening 20 minutes you handled us fairly well and had a lot more effort...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I particularly enjoyed this, on a different thread. http://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/the-championship-2020-21.57308/page-38 Didn’t realise we were playing Barcelona-esque, footballing power house in Watford. Looks like a few years getting trounced by big teams has made them think they’re not ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Cannot be a happy camp with Troy Deeney out injured, and stand in captain Tom Cleverley dropped to the bench. He was carrying an injury it seems because he had strapping on when coming on. Certainly missed a striker today as you handled Sarr and Pedro very well. Glen Murray certainly isn't the answ...

Re: BFT Watford

We did start well but your tactical change was the key. You mean bringing another CB on and playing him in midfield? I have to say I was a bit confused at that and thought it wouldn't work but that's why I'm a random fan and Pauno is a manager. I'd love to believe Pauno is some tactical genius. Do ...

Re: BFT Watford

Good to hear from you horns. Comfortably the best side we've played so far. Deeney and Murray to come in is a bit frightening in the Championship. if fully fit and motivated they should be good and physically add a lot to our team. I mean we still have Danny Welbeck, Capoue and Deulofeu han...

Re: BFT Watford

....and welcome back Horns ! Long time, no hear Cheers! We seem to be pretty solid defensive wise but do have few key injuries or lost players in attack or midfield. Sarr is a very good player but not really a striker and been linked with a move away whilst Pedro is another prospect but young. Prob...

Re: BFT Watford

So is Pauno just some incredible motivator then? He seems to have reinvigorated the fire in so many players. Moore looks back to his best. The atmosphere after the game was pretty motivating, if you ‘do’ Instagram. Pauno will never be picked for Strictly unless he changes dancing style, though. Was...
