Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Would be very happy if its the Wilf bros

FWIW the NFL players association do a survey of their players and release a 'score card' for every team on a range of factors including ownership. The Wilfs were 2nd out of 32 teams, with the Vikings players rating them 9.7/10 (A+ grade) this year.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

The planning condition isn't the barrier people think it is, but it obviously adds a lot more risk for a purchaser who is trying to do something that is likely to attract significant local and political opposition (plus an inevitable 1-2 years worth of delays through the planning/appeal/possibly cal...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Enjoying the beaten by Charlie Adam comments In the spirit of Christmas, and knowingly swimming against the tide, I am always fair when it comes to seeing pure skill, and Charlie Adam did two things today that were head and shoulders ahead of anything else on the pitch. His through ball for the goal...

Re: Loan Watch 2016/17

Hiya, A Motherwell fan here, how's it going? We've taken Zak Jules on loan from you 'til the end of the season and I was curious as to what the script was with him. Having watched his interviews on the Motherwell YouTube and read up a bit on the internet he seems to predominately be a left sided ce...

There's nothing "lay low" about me. And I've been posting here for about a decade before that suggestion. How you doing leon? Hope you're well. Jesus Christ Ian get a sense of humour. It's nice of you to ask after me. I know really you hoped i'd died by now. Why on Earth would I hope that...

Re: BFTG - Preston Home

Thanks for the comments all who were there. Moore seems to be the right transfer priority now so hopefully that gets tied up this week. For those who have paid more attention of late, do Mendes or Meite look like the kind of player that would take hold of the no. 9 role and have an impact once match...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h) sponsored by opening game optimism

Ian Royal We hold on... just. Sounds like thanks to Preston's utter mediocrity rather than our own skill. Should really have won that comfortably and had it put to bed in the first half.

Re: McDermott out - Jaap Stam in....

Ranieri hasn't had 30 years of success. In fact there have been times when he was considered a bit of a joke (don't mention the Faroes). Plenty of players have gone into their first job and done pretty well (there must have been one or two cases at Reading....) We simply don't know how any particul...

Re: Back from the game - Palace

Al Habsi was great and the two goals where horrible for him, glad he got the MoM recognition Obita and Gunter were excellent, I had flashbacks of the 4-2 vs Palace in 2009/10 when their wingers had a field day but they held their own and made some key blocks in the box. Cooper was unlucky, slightly ...

Re: Fave transfer window ever?

If we get Vydra then this one. Although I do remember being quie excited when we signed Bryniesta, Doyle, Long , Lita and Baradji (loan) in the summer of 05. This summer though chas the potential from turning us from a bottom half to a team more than capable of reaching the play-offs. Really? What ...

Re: RUMOUR - Robert Beric

How many first teamers have we actually still got on premier league based contracts? Gunter, McCleary, Pograbnyak, can't think of many more, think people are overstating the issue, we've shifted the majority of that team now, plus Bridge and Drenthe

Re: RUMOUR - Robert Beric

I got a flight from Podgorica to Stanstead yesterday and as I came through arrivals a guy in a RFC tracksuit was waiting for someone, I happened to notice he met a 6'1'' guy who looked 20-22 years old and had been on my flight. Beric is Slovenian not Montenegrin and doesn't really look like the guy...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Federici - 7 - didn't really have much to do but made good decisions throughout Gunter - 7 - got forward well and didn't look at all threatened by their winger (who was completely useless) Hector - 9 - good with the ball at his feet, bullied Cardiff off the ball and was composed at all times Pearce ...
