LUX
Green Brentford away for sure.

got to be a London Royals meat-up for the four corner-pubs.

Only been to Brentford as a kid (2-2 in around 1977 was the last time. Scored directly from a corner).

Re: Top 5 most hated ex-Royals - Sponsored by Big Foot

Mark Reilly ...for being utter crap Mark McGhee ...yes, he did play as well as manage. Don't need to explain why he's on the hate list!! I really believe he could have gone on to be a top manager if he hadn't been such a twat. Didn't really hate Olly Kearns , but loved singing "He gets the bal...

Re: Atmosphere

The home games atmospheres are terrible, the booing, the Alfie chants when he's not playing (he's not even THAT fukking good), I can't even be bothered to try there, plus after a goal all atmosphere is broken by the oxf*rd goal music. The support is terrible and with people's ignorant, idiotic nega...

Re: BFTG - Burnley

The three subs didn't really make a difference, positively or negatively. The atmosphere from the Burnley fans was virtually non existent It seemed to me that for the first half, the team were told to sit back and soak up pressure because we created almost nothing and the game was dull as dishwater...

Re: End of season position. Predictions.

Reading all the emotive junk on this site you would think we were a certainty for relegation.
However, I am of the more optimistic type and will say 1st or second which is where a reasonable sum of my cash has been placed at 10-1

God, we are so shit, sack Adkins, get rid of all the players, sign the entire Real Madrid squad...bet people on here would still find something to complain about.

Re: Coming soon to a cinema near you - Robin Friday The Movi

I was a teenager back when Friday was playing and saw a lot of the games he played in. As I remember he was very skillful, but bandy legged. I used to copy his running style when I played football. He also lacked pace which is why I don't think he would have succeeded in the top division. The Tranme...

Ah! Nice to see a thread with a positive spin! Congratulations Brian. As posters above have already said...In Brian we trust. These are difficult times but that's part of being a Reading fan. We are not going to set the division alight and win a sackful of trophies, if you want that, you know where ...

Re: Smallest away attendance

Remember going to Hartlepool away circa 1976. Certainly had one coach going there but when people got in the ground I never saw another Reading fan again. Quite common in those days for away fans not to have a section so they just melted away. If the score was 0-0, I would have been at that game. I...

Re: Humble Pie

I think STG's are the breed of people who in general see life as shit and can never admit their mistakes. Some of the posting on here just a few months ago was so negative (and vitriolic) even when we were grinding out decent results. For example, I posted that i'd had a bet on us to win promotion a...

Re: Back from the game (or Watching Sky)

Where I was stood there was a woman behind me slagging Kebe off the whole game for being lazy....I pointed out to her that he had provided the crosses for two of the goals and that is why we have him in the team. She replied "No, no, no" What an idiot...luckily her yelling didn't distract ...

Re: Back from the game - Brighton (A)

There was little of the play acting they showed at the MadStad  I went to a different game from you my friend. Great smash and grab, made even sweeter when I found out the winning goal was deflected. The perfect result against a tappy tap team that just kept falling over when they couldn't g...
