Re: Is there an award for the slowest bar staff in the Prem

I appreciate first game back etc etc, but this was attrocious today. They should have anticipated the demand during the first half, got tonnes of drinks already pre-poured and ready to go. Instead they had about 3 cola machines for 8 tills and huge bottlenecks were caused. The supervisors should hav...

Re: New Website?

Even worse for users who don't enable Javascript or Images (accessibility and speed main reasons for doing that). Absolute mess of a site, although I'm presuming it's been forced on us as Plymouth had similar a few weeks ago.

Re: The 5 Year Plan by Anton Zingarevich

Realistically the 5 year plan has probably changed quite a bit over the last few weeks as naturally one of those main objectives would have been to get promoted probably within the next year or so. This probably means the infrastructure isn't as strong as he perhaps would have hoped behind the scene...

Should also inform the powers that be that they were continued to be sold alcohol. Compass do a terrible job at keeping their staff informed of basic laws apparently.

Jem is one of those players who you don't notice his work rate until he's out of the squad and you miss his distribution. Really plays well for the club and a fantastic success for the academy.

Just booked my ticket and they said Lower West was far busier. Expecting a gate of 6-7 thousand!

Re: £4.00 a pint! Genuine reflection of costs or profiteering?

The club contract out the catering so have no control over the prices. Saying that though, £4 is an absolute rip off especially when the staff are on minimum wage. Massive markup even if they do have to pay for the sales unit.

Re: Parking around Whitley Wood Lane

we always park in the small gravel car park at the basingstoke road end of acre road. we normally get there for around 13:45 and there are spaces. never seen any vandalism of any kind but you are warned that you park at your own risk. nice one  ....you better turn up half an hour earlier for ...

Re: Parking around Whitley Wood Lane

In the 10+ years I've only had 2 incidents, 1 brick through a window and someone knocked my wing mirror off. It's safe as long as you don't park like a total arse.

But for tax purposes they count ST's regardless of whether they turn up or not so my estimate would be 17500.

It's almost as if they want us to drive to the ground! All this will succeed in doing is putting off families from coming to games as football starts to become more "exclusive".

Re: Are Reading Fans the biggest prats in the league?

Have you not seen the Twitter feed? They not only post stupid comments like, "Academy player X is now on Twitter", they also retweet morons as well saying stuff like, "My season ticket has arrived". I know they're trying to engage with the fans etc, but surely, an official line h...

They really do need to be a bit more professional on their twitter account. You can't avoid the dead head facebook comments but there's certainly no reason why i should see a retweet of some spaz who's just jizzed themselves because there new season ticket card has arrived. It's doing us a favour b...
