Re: Kermorgant Injury

linkenholtroyal When we did that pole last year of who we should get in as a new striker, It looks like we should have got Ian Royal.

LOL , didn't he predict Rakels would score 20 + goals last seasons?.

Lower West Either team today would have been automatic favourites for relegation next season. Neither are good enough to stay up. Prefer to be promoted when we are ready. As need to stay up. As Norwich and Villa have proved. Money alone does not buy success. .

Re: Good luck Huddersfield and Who actually cares that we're not going up?

Gutted that we lost in another playoff final, but as for the Premier League, who cares?. I just want all the razzmatazz of a playoff win, the celebrations, the knees-up, the missing from work for 3 days because I'm too drunk, the taste of blood. The fact that we won't be entertaining plastic Man Ci...

Re: BFTG Newcastle (H)

Dim and Mick were singing the praises of Berg... how did he get on? Did Newcastle really sing about taking the record, or did Dim & Mick mistake Reading's song for coming from the Toon? How close were we at the end to nicking it? Just make the effort to attend, or are you still banned?. What ha...

Re: BFTG Newcastle (H)

I've never understood the criticism of, bordering on hatred towards, Gunter. I thought he had a good game on Tuesday. In addition to defending well, he looked to get forward as often as possible. There were a good number of occasions when he got forward and was in space on the right, calling for th...

Re: BFTG Newcastle (H)

That was an enjoyable 0-0 despite the lack of clear chances either way. 2nd half atmosphere was pretty good, fair play to the day trippers swelling numbers over the 23,000 mark. Toe to toe with them, a draw was fair, would have bitten your arm off for a draw at the start and am glad we got it. McCl...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Jagermesiter1871 Is there really much point in saying your keeper barely made a save if he also conceded 3 goals?

Nope, but it just wont sink in, best to just give up, the lift dont go to the top with this one.

How many points you got, like 50? Thanks mate - however just seen I'm on call that weekend :x Will see if I can swap out but...

Re: BFTG-Bristol city.

When Ali made his 'wonder save' there was a spontaneous standing ovation in the Eamon Dolan. Well deserved, he really is quite a keeper ! Yes agree, I was watching high up in the north stand B12, it was something special and certainly brightened up an otherwise poor game. Poor game? I am confused. ...

No, because he was a c**t of a man. Wouldn't even make it near my top 20.

Black History Month, Favourite Black Reading Player.

I dont think this has already been covered, so in celebration of Black History Month who is your favourite Black Reading player?

I would go for

1. Michael Gilkes.

2. Steve Richardson.

3. Andy Alleyne.

4. Jason Roberts.

5. Martin Williams.

Royalwaster That dominant display against bottom of the table Rotherham should put some confidence in the team.

Or maybe not.

Remember, when Rotherham were really struggling and we went up there and lost in 14/15?

Well, we won today.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by a Cureton special

Well its only happened twice but I agree, 4-1 not good. Just when I thought the scoreline was going to be more respectable. Best just to treat this game as another learning experience and move on from it. We're the only side in the top half with a negative goal difference. Still though, points are ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by a Cureton special

Poor management as well in not bringing subs on until far too late to influence anything. Lets hope we can recover sufficiently to avoid an embarrassment on Saturday, could you imagine losing with Blackman and/or Vydra scoring........ No way, always said we should have signed Vydra looked real clas...
