Re: Rumour: Joe Piggott

Ligue 2 is a better Eredivisie?? Yeah jog on. How many Ligue 2 games did Meite play last season then mate? The point was that Meite had a loan spell at Ligue 2 and Nova played in the Top Dutch league and out scored him in comparison. We were comparing loan spells were we not? Or does that not fit y...

Re: Rumour: Joe Piggott

If he had better overall loan spells than Meite (who was our top scorer last season) why shouldn’t he be considered? Because he was playing in a pub league and didn't have a decent record in that. Re: Rumour: Joe Piggott

Joe Piggott is not good enough to play for Reading FC in the Championship. Also can people please stop mentioning/considering/wasting their time with Novakovich. Re: Ex Players

When he left us he had the choice of QPR or Liverpool. He chose QPR because he thought he'd get more game time. He was wrong, and it was probably the worst decision of his career. He would have been first choice at Liverpool instead of second choice at QPR. He'd have earned more money, certainly wo...

Re: Fixtures for 2019/2020

Always look forward to fixture day, it's just a step towards the season starting. The main ones I always look for is opening day and a couple of fixtures beyond that, Christmas period, Easter period and last few games of the season. Also always look for likes of Brentford, Fulham away etc... Would ...

Re: Fixtures for 2019/2020

Get the overground from London Bridge to Charlton, that's just round the corner from the Valley I think that is how I did it last time. Last time I did Reading -> Padders -> Tube to Waterloo -> short walk to Waterloo East -> Charlton. Not too bad. Last time I went there was the 2-1 League Cup loss,...

Re: Financial Fair Play

yes, its fairly desperate times. What is the most frustrating is a lot of it will have cleared up by this time next year, when the likes of Meyler, GMac, Gunter will also be out of contract. Gourlay and co have created a horrible mess and unfortunately the new regime are left to pick up the pieces....

Re: How many players will we sign this window?

Was tempted to make another thread but for fear of being slated (again) I wanted to ask if we don't sign anyone will we stay up/where will we finish? The pessimist in me is feeling like we are on an inevitable journey to League One sooner or later, or do we have to ride out another season of scrappi...

Hound JLows actually been spot on. He has said nothing is happening and it isn’t

He seems to have found a little source somewhere along the way and rather that just spouting out any vague rumours actually gets it checked first

Poor bloke has got nothing to go on. Really tough.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Fish finings are often used to filter beer. You're not consuming animal products, but animal products are used in the making of the product. I wouldn't have a problem with it if I was a vegan, but then I'm not a vegan. I'd imagine Enfield Royal71 has an issue with it, being so infatuated with Fores...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Out of interest anyone know how Reading compare to the other league clubs a regards to the date their new kit is revealed and/or the date the new kit can be bought? Are Reading really late with the release or is it fairly standard for the lesser league clubs? Yes, we are really late. I think we hav...
