Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Utilisation of brought forward losses is restricted to 50% of profits (although first £5m is exempt from this). Companies don't pay CGT but are subject to chargeable gains regime that works similarly and brings into the charge of CT gains on assets, but then trading losses can be offset against thos...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

Azeez's touch to take the ball from behind him past Morro was obscene, kinda stuff that would have had multiple angle, slow-mo repeats if done in the prem. Huge sign of his confidence at the moment. Love it.

Finally might the club be emerging from this hell!

Interesting...but also really bloody odd.

If he isn't going to pass EFL checks then still seems unlikely he will try to get the rest of the club

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Apologies, if this has already been posted, but is there a chance that Lomtadze is Dai’s so called mate and his ultimate aim is to buy the club. Selling the training ground could be a quick way of funding this month’s £1m shortfall. I appreciate that in all probability this isn’t the case, but none...

Re: Ex Players

That's a bizarre overreaction to a minimal comment about an ex player. I have never called for him to be "cancelled" (not that he has a public facing role that would make that even feasible) nor did I even state anything particularly negative about him. He's entitled to his views, as ill i...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

PieEater The club is nothing but a liability, with no assets except the players, most of whom leave on a free at the end of the season.

No Stadium, no car park, and now no training ground. Who's going to buy that?

Agreed

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

This will be spun as giving the club a lifeline as it will give us the working capital required to keep on going for a few months more. That may (or may not) be true but it doesn't solve the long term financing issues we have and actively makes finding a new owner harder (which would solve the long ...

Re: Ex Players

Lawson D'Ath (who never actually played for us, but was a youth player for four or five years, is playing for Banbury United... scored 2 goals this season, which is his second highest tally at a club with Northampton and his 11 goals there being the most. Scored one goal for each club he played for...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (a)

Thankfully this doesn't feel like a must win match, so hopefully the boys can go in without any pressure. Losing doesn't necessarily hurt our survival chances and point(s) will be a bonus so they can go out there and see what happens. The later games against lower league opposition are what will mak...
