Re: Sweet Caroline - Blakey!

Loved 2005/06 so much but when was this the pre match music? Can remember it at Reading I think but can't have been in 05/06 as Blakey said it happened at the end of that season I may be wrong but I don't think it ever was pre-match music. My memory of it was that it was played after the game, when...

Re: Semi final tickets?

A good idea would be to allow ST holders to buy 2 tickets each, but the 2nd has to be a Member. Therefore all the +1's will be proper fans who don't get the chance to go every week, rather than the day-trippers who can then fight it out during General Sale.

Re: Who will we draw away in the FA Cup QF

With that kick off time its looking like the coaches will need to leave at around 6.00am, thanks for that BT , the games with the least travelling times have the prime TV spots , cant see us selling any more than around 2.000. if that set off at that time its only 3 hrs with a clear run Only three ...

Re: Royals vs Burnley - If you were the manager

Early goal would be huge for us obviously, but will also put more pressure on Brighton (and Wigan if applicable) once word gets out. But as for parking the bus; a big NO-NO, can't put anything to chance on Saturday, so start hard and fast, and then just keep going, regardless of score line.

Pepe the Horseman Anyone else got that fcuking annoying Blackburn song stuck in their head?

I think I know the one you mean. I had no idea what they were saying, though, so in my head the lyrics now are;

Oh Kaspars Gorrrrrrrrrrkss!
Oh Kaspars Gorrrrrrrrrrkss!
Oh Alex Peeeeeeeeeeearce!
Garath McClearyyyyyyyyyyy!

No, it wouldn't be difficult to form a good midfield partnership had Karacan, Baird, Williams and Leigertwood all spent time on the sidelines this season/all season.

Stuka Do London Irish sing pro-IRA songs and things about the famine?

They play "Fields of Athenry" before and after every game, which is a famine-related song, though I expect the majority of fans don't realise this and just see it as the song that all Ireland sports teams sing.

Re: London Irish Takeover

There was talk of them changing their name to Reading Irish at one point, but nothing was ever done about it. Personally, I think they should take a leaf out of the Welsh & other London clubs' book and just be known by their nickname; Exiles RFC, which is even more appropriate these days as they...

London Irish Takeover

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/25333763 Looks as if London Irish's new owners could potentially decide to leave the Mad Stad, and I feel this could divide opinions among Reading fans. Personally I think it would be sad to see them go, they did have a contract til 2026 but I think that got ...
