Re: Ola John

I wouldn't pay 8 euros for him, greatly overrated, a player with bags of skill but not the mental application. Just because we had a song about him doesn't make him any good (same goes for Piazzon great pedigree & ability, but no heart)

Re: Pre season - Swindon (A)

Excellent news we've not played them for a few years now, can we also arrange away fixtures at Oxford & Aldershot and Basingstoke

Re: Nick Blackman

Forbury Lion
Jagermesiter1871 Either way none of this has an relevance to the sale of Nick Blackman.
Wrong as I imagine his family stopped attending games once he was sold, thereby reducing attendance slightly.

Heart of a mouse. Technically gifted, but he always looked like he thought he was doing us a favour playing for us

Re: BFTG Hull (H)

It was an OK performance undone by some moments of inept defending and a failure to convert the many, many good chances into goals. Yes, we should have had a penalty. But hen Cooper should've probably been sent off. It wasn't down to the referee. The "tactically inept" label is hard to pi...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

A few things i couldn't understand about Saturdays team choice, we finished on Tue against a poor forest team with Vydra & John having come on as subs and looking good why not start them against Brum. Secondly how does Piazzon get in to this team, yes he's a technically gifted player, but with t...

Re: Deniss Rakels - Early opinions?

Poor saturday after impressing with cameo's up to now. He looked like Pog, going down like he'd been shot, needs to eradicate that from his game pretty rapid as refs will give nothing even when he has been fouled. Like the rest of his game, hopefully will get a full one on Tuesday at Hudders

Re: BFTG - MK Dons

There is a lot of over-reactionary rubbish posted here, Facebook and Twitter about the game and the situation we appear to be in. I've seen people suggesting the club refund tickets, that McDermott has lost the dressing room, he needs sacking, that the club is in ruins, the owners aren't backing ma...

Re: What is the point in HRK

HRK what are we to do? He splits opinion doesn't he. I think he's a fine young, hard working player, who faithfully follows team orders. A manager's delight to select. Not everyone has coaching experience, but if you've ever managed a team at any level you'll know attitude is as important as abilit...

Re: What is the point in HRK

I didn't actually think he played that badly on Saturday :? Me neither. Thought he was ok. 6/10 I didn't think he was that bad either, he just looked knackered, but he is still one of our high earners and more needs to be expected More to the point is his contract is up this summer and three yrs ag...

maffff
ZacNaloen If he can get through this season with only minor injuries I'd offer him another year, year by year until he breaks down again.

Agreed :!:

+1
His experience helps both Cooper & Hector(who probably thinks he knows it all but is still learning)

Re: CONFIMRED - Blackman to Derby

BR2 Apart from my earlier fear that we would sign Darren Bent my further fear is that Kanu will get even more game time now and we end up giving him yet another 3-year contract.

Totally agree, both are a waste of space, although Kanu can put in a decent cross when he can be arsed

Re: Orlanda Sa

I want Brian to take a look at Sa in the same way he did Long. Long didn't score many until Brian became manager, the simple reason being Long spent 10% of his match time in the penalty area BB. Brian took it upon himself to tell Long to get in the box more, lo and behold Long then starts getting i...

Orlanda Sa

What is going on with him? When we first sign him he looks very impressive (as a lot of players do). Scores a great hat -trick gets stupidly sent off following home game v Derby, comes back in after suspension looks alright without scoring until Fulham away, where we fall apart after going two up. S...

Re: BFTG . Derby

I'll probably regret saying this, but I don't think Derby will be challenging at the end of the season. They didn't look as good as last year imho. Their style of play reminded me a lot of most of our football last season. Quite slow, not a great deal up front and Chris Martin makes Pogrebnyak look...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Robson-Kanu says he is leaving it in the hands of his agent and the club but says he has the belief to play at the very top level. It's there in black and white kids His brother is his agent and I think he is also Pearce's, he managed to convince Reading he was going to be better than he was at con...
