Re: Fulham away

Anyone know much about this neutral area? Seems to be the away end? If we're taking 4000, how many 'neutral' do they let in? Plans have changed so now going but gonna get the right 'ump if it's full by the time I get there.

Re: BFTG/OTWH Derby (H) 0-3

Can anyone really explain what formation or system we were playing today? Was it 4-2-4? It's no surprise we are creating chances but keep conceding. The balance in the team is wrong. Why was Akpan not playing instead of Taylor ? And Gunter is getting worse each week. He didn't challenge Martin for ...

Re: Wolves - back from the sofa

Just watched the first half back (I am that sad) and still can't for the life of me work out why Adkins decided to bring his mohawked lovechild on. I sit very close to the bench so hear a lot of what Adkins and Croft say. For the final 10 mins of the 1st half, Adkins was chewing the arse off of Akp...

Re: BFTG Millwall

I think people are forgetting Millwall are a decent side, by no means prolific but I feel they could be one of the teams who make up the playoffs. As for us, I fancy us to do something. Get Williams or Karacan back (or put in Kuhl again) where Akpan is and we could be onto a winner. McCleary coming...

BFTG Millwall

Enjoyable game and carried on from where we left off on Saturday. A nervy 25 mins in the second half when Millwall passed us off the pitch, but 3 points is 3 points. Norwood again excellent with inch perfect passes out to Mackie.... Who again had no end product. We need GMac back to be more of a thr...

Re: BFTG-Fulham

Brilliant performance , loved how stubborn we were with the short passing. We have come on along way from the direct approach of Brian. Feds-8 Gunter-7 Hector-7 Pearce-7 Obita-9 Norwood-9 Akpan-7 Mackie-6 Cox-7 Taylor-7 Murray-10 Glad to see Blackman score, looks a more complete player this season,...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield (H)

A rare visit to the Mad Stad for me with work/saturday football commitments. All the below should be caveated with the fact I haven't watched in a while. I thought that was a typical tepid home performance against a well-drilled, workmanlike, physical and cynical Northern championship side. I've se...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield (H)

A lot of the Saturday love was borne out of 1. a win, and 2. a great performance by Hector. In reality we had zero midfield and no one willing or able to boss the game. Last night was an action replay in the 1st half minus the Hector novelty. 2nd half was a different story. Couldn't believe Blackman...

Re: BFTG - Ipswich

Well, if the stats prove me wrong then fair enough. Perhaps he had a bad patch where it went wrong a few times together before he sorted it out, I just remember getting a bit frustrated with it at one point. The frustration wasn't so much Blackman as such, but federici keep pumping the ball long to...

Unless he's already in the country the flight from Bangkok doesn't arrive until 5:57pm

Then he's gotta get his bags, have a piss, and wait for a taxi..

Not often I agree with Ian but Brian Howard had a couple of phenomenal games where he completely dictated the tempo.

Unfortunately, only a couple.

Re: Buyout

Nameless
CayeneMatt So Samuelson is vetting prospective buyers - and they must retain him at 40K a week for 2 years. I heard our wage bill was bad but......

Don't be silly, that's a monthly rate ! Seems like good value given what they do for the club.

Doh. Getting blinded by all the bullshlt.
